When you watch him live at the games, you really see how much running he does. Ridiculous the amount of ground he covers, plus he’s always then running quick-style to take the corners etc.

Definitely think he covers more ground than McGregor in a game

 

He seems to always be involved without actually being involved in anything good. I counted one good flick to Ralston in the first half.

So, so slow and ponderous at times. His passing is just too safe and sideways. I don't think he has enough quality to break stubborn defences down. The overhit pass to Kyogo is an example of this.

 

He can't play in a team without Rogic

Thought that myself recently, he's been very average at best this season. Keeps the play ticking but you don't want just 'ticking' from your player in the 10 role. Decision making very poor too at times and looks like he just wants to pad his goal stats by taking shots instead of playing key passes.

 

He's just meh......a neat and tidy sitting midfielder. Couldn't lace Tam's boots as a #10.

 

We no options to drop or rotate him. After the summer, CM is our weakest area in the squad. We should be rotating Rogic and Turnbull, not playing both.

 

Been * rotten for ages. Defo needs upgraded in Jan

I actually thought we'd be fine without Tam today but it just shows how weak that area is. It's killing us the lack of depth..

 

He's pish bar the odd set piece, which isn't great considering the amount he takes, and the odd long range shot.

 

Needs to step it up more in games like this. His shooting from range could've unlocked Livi today but decided to constantly play the safe pass. He's good as part of the supporting cast when Rogic and co are playing. But when it's just him having to step it up in the central area we fails to do so. Really disappointed in Turnbull today.

Doesn't bring enough to the team. The odd wonder strike every month or so isn't cutting it. Needs to be creating more. And his set pieces are mostly dross.

We badly need an energetic midfielder. McGregor as a 6, Rogic and one other box to box type.

 

That pass he overhit for Kyogo late on was infuriating. Was nice bit of play started by Forrest and he gave Kyogo no chance to score..

 

Christie is a huge loss here.

Aye he was dreadful at Ibrox, he's always been * v them, but against SPL dross he's got the legs and energy to be a dynamic number 8. imo that was his best position under Rodgers.

 

Annoying me now, needs a spell on the bench but weve literally no one to come in.

 

Complete passenger, and let the team down when it was HE who had to step up to the mark in place of the injured Rogic.

 

Yep we definitely miss Christie and need his replacement in ASAP.

He was an utter shitebag against the huns, but as you said against SPL cannon fodder he was a very useful player. Had some good performances in Europe too. Turnbull has failed to turn up against the huns too and I don't recall him ever having a great game in Europe.
