£8m for Larsson is very steep. He's had one good half season in Sweden and one good season at Spartak.

24 years old and scored 76 goals in 241 games at a fairly average level.

 

Only 18 months on his contract.

£8m-£10m is way too much for me. Half the price, and I'm interested.

 

Talk that West Ham are planning on snapping him up atm.

I watched 2.40 of the second video and that was probably double what I needed to watch to know this lad is a baller. I’m salivating over the thought of Kyogo, Jota, Forrest and Abada running onto those passes. Get him in.

We badly need options in middle of the park, christie is a huge miss to this side and i dare say that had ntcham turned the screw would have been a good option under ange.

A box to box midfielder is a must, as is a proper defensive mid.

Stuart Armstrong’s not getting a game for Southampton these days. Would take him back in a heartbeat. Would probably just be a loan though.

 

Definitely think we need more than one. I’d rather keep CalMac in the 6 role, which means we need another player who can do what CalMac does. Also another technical midfielder to play in the absence of Rogic.

 

Exactly the type of player we need at the minute.

 

GK Carljohan Eriksson, 26 year old Finnish international Keeper playing in Sweden and just set a record for his club Mjallby who are a bottom half of the table team. He has 10 clean sheets in 16 games including 8 in a row. He’s also out of contract in December

LB Cristiano, Sheriff, 28 skilful attacking left back with a good cross on him. Regularly contributes assists for his team. Video is a couple years out of date but he has provided assists in the CL this season

CM Johan Hove, 21 of Stromgodset, is a good all round centre mid who can go box to box and chips in with goals. U21 regular for Norway.

CM Sergi Samper 26 Vissel Kobe, a guy with the passing range to compliment Kyogos movement. Would a free in January. Perhaps a bit lightweight but would help unlock a compact defence.

CM Andras Schafer 22 year old centre mid playing with DAC in Slovakia but really stood out at Euros for Hungary and has continued to impress at international level. A high energy midfielder who chips in with goals and assists.

Winger Ola Solbakken, 23 year old Bodo Glimt can play either side and is a different type of winger to what we have, he is physically big and very quick. Left footed but can play either side.

Winger Sebastian Jorgensen 21 year old, Silkborg left footed right winger. Has 6 goals and 6 assists in 14 this year. Good dribbler and takes a good set piece. Plays in a similar formation to us and would fit in well.

Winger Tobias Fjeld Gulliksen 18 year old left winger for Stromgodset. He totally destroyed Molde in the last game he played won a penalty and scored two. More one for the future but has 5 goals and 2 assists in 22

 

Can’t believe Samper is 26 playing in Japan now. He looked like he was the next Xavi

This article was from a few years back but documents what happened to him or at least someone who followed his career. He had injury troubles as well I think.

He seemed to have a good relationship with Kyogo this season before his move to us, mainly because he actually has the vision to spot a good run and read a game both things we sorely lack.

 

Bite their hand off for him at that money, then flog Ajeti.

Much as I’m actually desperate for Maeda, I’d take Jordan over him any day.
