    He was lucky they gave him that goal because he never got a touch, keeper hit it off his defender. Basically he missed two sitters.

    For me, just now, his best role is as our backup #10 (to Rogic). Continually shoe-horning him in to the role of a first-choice #8 could ruin him.

    Need to get him directly competing with Rogic. Would bring the best out in both, and would (probably) eventually see Turnbull overtake Rogic as the starting 10.

    But that’s 100% his position, for me. We badly need a dynamic, more athletic CM in.

    This. In my opinion our number 1 priority is to get a strong central midfielder. Its a must.

    That would make a huge impact on our defense aswell.

    It seems that problems are being sorted one at a time. First, we worked on the the attack, then the defense, and now, we have credible set pieces. David is of course, cruicial. No goals come from poor crosses.

    His deliveries first half were great, had said at weekend we need goals from set plays when teams sit in. I know Hibs didn’t do that but a good start getting a couple tonight.

    He's definitely upped it in the last 2 games tbf but still think he's a little off it compared to Rogic, Kyogo, Jota and McGregor.
