Most could forgive being a wee bit loose and taking chances at the back if it resulted in us battering the other goal....that isn't what's happening though. We had like what, 3 or 4 shots on goal the whole 90 mins?

My only management experience is taking West Ham to Premiership title playing Champ Manager 4 about 15 years ago but if you gave me a squad of 15 hungry & fit players, I'm confident I could set them up to get joy against us.

We were on the break and Ralston played a loose pass, 5 seconds later we're 2 for 2 and giving them a huge chance at our goal.

The system baffles me. Despite our inverted full backs we seem to have no-one in the middle when attacking. They dominated us for a good 70 mins in the middle.

I've seen and heard enough to believe this isn't a genius on the cusp of something brilliant. Just another foreigner that's overestimated his own ideas and underestimated Scottish Football.

By making a movement the complete opposite of an "inverted" full back.

To be fair, he made two crucial changes. Rogic on who started the move for the goal and Jota on the right who scored it.

We stopped * about at the back and went more direct too.

I'm backing ange but I expected a much better performance today.
Things I'd like to see change if he persists with his system :
    1. Drop starfelt for welsh, defensively hes ok but on the ball hes * chronic, doesnt even suit anges style.
    2. Drop Monty altogether, play scales or boli till Taylor's back.
    3. Play a number 10 behind the striker cause weve got nothing going through the middle and kyogo needs someone to link up with.
    4. Find someway to up the tempo again like we had in the beginning of the season, could be a confidence thing so today's win might help.

Part of the role that thought mate, it’s not just to stay in the middle.

    He's disappointing me..

He got away with today. No doubt about it, for large part's of that second half, they looked the likelier side..

He did eventually get the calls right though as it paid off, just..

I will give him the benefit a touch as well as we had a gruelling 90 against a top side 3 day's ago so an early kick off at Pittodrie was never gonna be easy..

    Aye, I'd agree with that.
However, we were pretty * from 35 mins onwards, and he stood and done * all to change it. Changes should have been made far quicker, he's lucky Jota bailed him out.

He won today and that’s what was needed.

Overall play was poor and tactics again very questionable, but we got the win which buys him some small amount of time to sort it.

There’s lot of problems holding this team back but the good news should be their very clear and very solvable problems, which should mean he can address them and immediately improve us.

He’s ran out of time to * about. He needs to sort it pronto and never look back.

Started off the movement in CM/no.8 role, then moves into an almost left sided forward role and gets in the box with the cross.

That's not an "inverted" full back, I'll be * if I can actually classify it...

Huge for him and the international break is absolutely coming at the right time as we look dead on our feet..

The balance of the midfield needs addressing, Bitton makes it too slow, Soro is a red card waiting, Turnbull & Rogic leaves us too exposed... Should we be be recalling Robertson in January?

We need two CMs in Jan, left back and maybe another RB too.

    It's * nonsense mate.

Aye, fair enough it's created one goal, but ffs when the other team are on the attack it either creates multiple goals against, or chances.

    It's madness...
