Just re watched the highlights of last night. My * we could and probably should have scored three or four. The first goal, a mistake, the second, just two defenders at the back, has to be addressed. The third could easily have not been given, and the fourth, just a crackin finish. So its not all doom and gloom. He just needs to sort out what role the two full backs play when we are not in possession. Its as simple as that. But thats his job, and so far, we havent seen any improvement since the beginning, thats his only downfall in my eyes so far.

We are so used to losing in Europe...I guess the aim is to not be disheartened by losses?

But the real issue is that the majority of support buy into managers of a smiliar ilk. Deila, Rodgers, Postecoglou..

Even the initial resistance to Postecoglou had been suppressed.

    Unfortunately for him...our board isn't.

Ralston, Liam Scales , lad Montgomery...fukin laughable.

40 million at stake on the title this year and those * are scraping the barrel and our meek season ticket holders accept it.

Avoidable if you do certain things, like organise your defence better when you know that is the * weak part of it all.

It is great that we created some chances and maybe could have scored - but we didn't
Instead our leaky defence strikes again!
So the thing you do to avoid it, fix it!
Stop playing the inverted full backs, which in turn is causing the * CB to be stretched out and leaving massive holes.
Or stop playing 2 Attacking Mids, sacrifice one to be a deeper sitting mid that is willing to help out the CB pair when the fullbacks cut inside!

The joe ledley method. That was a massive success for us back then when izzy was bombing up and ledley would sit deep and cover if needed

Lose to Aberdeen the weekend and the writing is on the wall already..

I like him and given time and the support of the board he could do well.

The problem is he won't get time from the support or media and he definitely won't get support from our inept useless money hungry board.

Needs to start winning games now.. no more excuses.. unfortunately with this squad I think that is a hard ask.. personally and unfortunately I think hexwill be gone by crimbo.. hope I'm wrong

Even if the huns were to drop more points, we're not good enough to take advantage of it, if we canny put a winning run together we have no chance of winning the League.

Bitton is too slow to play the defensive midfield role effectively. Plus his tracking back when we lose possession is non existant.

A more savvy manager would get better results from this group of players.

Was that when the defender tripped over his own feet? Or did his boot studs get stuck in the ground? Surely the manager would be going over that in training and if it keeps happening its CLEARLY the system needs changing.

That's our 2 full backs. Leverkusen scored a few seconds after this I imagine they do go over this in training and they're not there by sheer chance so I agree with you it does need changed

"Todays lesson is how not to just * fall over the ball like its a rock of molten lava, and actually learn to kick the ball litterly in any direction" good plan, should sort out around 50% of goals conceded

Just bin that inverted full back pish, i dont have a * clue what it is supposed to achieve bar rendering our wide areas completely * open and inviting for opposition wing players to continue unhindered towards our goal.

Literally doesnt make any sense to me whatsoever.
