Sevco will bottle Hampden with a crowd there. Nice draw for us.

Wasn't the best of performances. Was really hoping for an emphatic win tonight.
But instead we continued in the same sort of style as the last 4 or 5 games now.

Dragging our * through the game and assuming just being better on paper will see us through.

Lots of passing around the backline that we don't need.
Wingers being the only really creative spark, but no one is on the end of their moves, nor can many help support them.

The intensity and dynamic pass and move is completely gone.
We play just like we did under Lennon. Lethargic, slow, no purpose.

3-0 is fine, in to the semi final, clean sheet and all that.
But it's Raith rovers for * sake.

That's no better than a last minute 1-0 to be fair.

Both draws aren't a given but I fancy us at Hampden against St Johnstone.....with a few big hitters to come back in and our team to of gelled a bit more by then..

Exactly what i wanted so its set up for the 1st All Green Scottish League Cup final since 1974 when Dixie Deans and Joe Harper (Hibs) scored hat tricks in a 6-3 win for Celtic with Jinky, Steve Murray and Paul Wilson scoring the others.

Listening to draw on BBC sportsound. They start talking about VAR up here and if it should be in. Yogi talking absolute * as usual but saying it should be in but we should trust our refs here. Kenny Macintyre going on about how they've not made many mistakes so far this year, no one challenges. There have been major mistakes(even as recent as weekend there) that have all conveniently suited the huns.

This sounds awfully familiar to what we said last season through September to December....

Small improvements in the cups then.
Even if the league form is worse :56:

Get what you’re saying mate want to see them winning 5 or 6 but at 3-0, players just when going through the motions knowing we were comfortably through, not worth bursting a gut

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Would have preferred rangers in the semi tbh, especially home draw. St J give me more of a fright than them lot at the moment.

Tonight was ok - McCarthy got a valuable 90 which he needed, chance to rest a few also. Having said that, at 3-0 I’d have hooked as many as possible * instantly

kyogo can’t come back quickly enough.

jota and Abada showed that they have a lot going for them.

rogic remains the best player in the spl on his day. But I and we have said that for long enough. A quality player that rangers fans love to mock because he can’t last 90 minutes.

you would take him for 70 though wouldn’t you, you shower of *.

Believe me, we have had var in Belgium for about 2 seasons. Its absolute crap, when the quality of the refs isnt high, the quality of the var isnt much better… same goes in Germany.

Tonight's performance was ok ish however, there was still a lot of slack passing, poor crossing and no real fluidity. Really miss McGregor and Kyogo. Thought Scales looked very composed when he came on and he also adds some height to our team which can't be bad.

A good night's work. 70 minutes for McCarthy which should really help him- there is a really good player there if he can get fit. Jota off the mark and a clean sheet. Scales got some minutes and we were able to bring on Soro, Bitton and Juranovic to give others a rest. I can't wait for Kyogo to go back into this team.

I felt like the whole game had a South American style to it as far as Celtic’s performance goes. We were absolutely dominant again but felt so lacklustre and half arsed mostly. Slow build possession play. Glad to see the young lads shining and important game time. Another game where it felt that Ajeti was a lone striker.

Really petty the level of complaints in here; even to the point of comparing Ange to Lennon because Giakoumakis got injured during the warmup :87:
