Some excellent play initially, then very * shortly afterwards. If we come out and play like we did at the start, have a great chance, but to be honest I'll be very happy with a draw now.

 

Enjoyable game in a mad way! Soro is a walking red card though.

 

Soro with them backward passes without looking with no conviction on them do my head in! Also the constant need to foul folk does not make a you a hard defensive mid!

You just know if we concede at 2-0 up in Europe the equaliser will be a few moments later, so frustrating.

Still well in this though, game should’ve been put to bed when Jota went through but now we will need to work for it big time! Come on let’s do it!

Looked brilliant then collapsed as soon as they scored. Defending for the second was horrendous.

Even saying he slipped up is harsh mate, lucky bounce for the Betis player there.

There was so many positives in that half on the ball and going forward..

Yet again though we just seem to panic and collapse under pressure. Happens so many time's where we concede quickly after scoring or one comes and the second isn't far behind..

Monty pulled out and been tentative in a number of challenges. I hate seeing that
Soro will go off. Have to sub him. His needles early booking was why they scored their first as he pulled out of 2/3 challenges there

The worry now is our lack of option's and Rogic and Turnbull in the middle..

McCarthy and Henderson will likely have to come on. McCarthy for Soro has to happen now..

They have a lot of option's off the bench and the momentum. If we could've just nicked a lead til half time it would've been interesting..

McCarthy for Soro is the right call.

I think Soro is a player btw apart from his rash challenges.

 

In some ways he reminds me of Rogic - languid style, technically excellent… but blows hot and cold, and has a very questionable engine!

 

Infuriating to see the same old script play out, start well go ahead something goes against us complete mental collapse for 10 mins and we concede again, game could go either way now but just awful game management from a terrific position.

So frustrating, we get jotas for a 3rd and we can relax, but we let it go to easily, poor in defence for the 2 goals and we reverse the pressure onto ourselves.

 

Soro off, McCarthy or Welsh on (if Welsh push Starfelt in to Midfield he’s done it before), then * tighten up and stop jumping around like fckng zebadee on speed

as for competing with the players we out out I am pleased with their application and hopefully we will get the result we deserve for work rate.

 

Fantastic half despite the 3 minute shambles to concede the advantage.

We're looking so good on the ball and causing them plenty of problems. Betis were rattled until that first, need to take the game to them in the second again as surely the longer the game goes on the more it favours them given our bench is weak as *.
