If Ange was appointed because McKay pursued him and convinced him to take the job, with McKay leaving Ange may start to feel a bit isolated with this Board, they will see him as McKays man. I fear then they wont back Ange in the January window forcing Ange to walk leaving Desmond to appoint his man he has always wanted, Kennedy.

 

Conspiracy hat on here - What if this was always the plan, and they wanted to appoint Nicholson after PL but knew the fans wouldn't accept it at the time, so they placed a "buffer" in full knowledge that he would leave "for personal reasons" at a pre-determined time?

Anything's possible knowing the board...

Here’s a thought of scales doesn’t even make the first team squad in the coming months then we have an inkling why theirs boardroom strife cause that would mean Desmond was pumping money into rovers to the detriment of Celtic

Fact is that there are people whose job it is to negotiate and finalise transfers at Celtic but big Pete wanted to do it all himself. Dom showed he had no issues sorting deals and having Ange be a big part of that instead of Pete or Desmond just buying whoever the * they wanted without asking the manager.

The Board were bumping their gums about loyalty and reviews when it came to our previous footballing manager but when it comes to their own particular area then it's very swift action.

Too many on the board have been there too long. It's very much a small cartel and very little realistic chance of changing this and only 1x per year to even voice desent at the AGM.

Sadly , I think this will affect our title challenge.
