I wish the resignation had to be explicitly explained in reason. "Personal reasons" is bullshit.

The personal reasons was that he personally * hated the board, their nepotism and incompetent blood sucking attitude

I’ve read the statement a few times over again and again and some of the wording has me thinking something has been going on behind the scenes,

like the new guy is a team player, Baker saying thanks for his efforts, that the new man has been the centre of executive decision making, he carries the confidence of the board and his colleagues, he is widely known and highly regarded in football circles in the UK and Europe and finally he has solid grip on how to achieve the clubs immediate and future objectives…..

Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I just don’t trust anything that horrible * Baker says

This is true, nobody knows and speculation is what we trade in, in here, however how he spoke and came across in his interviews made you think that he was a guy that was all in and would drag the club kicking a screaming into the 21st century and that DD and the others had put him there to do this,

all the things he talked about being wold class in each sector of the business a sporting side of the club is where we were going, That takes a whole lot of change and I can tell you change in a business that thinks is a leader in its field already is difficult. especially when it’s coming from an outsider, so my assumption is that he couldn’t get through what he wanted and it was better to go than stay in a place that was not willing to change with him that he was being challenged at every turn and as CEO that wasn’t except-able to him or maybe he tossed his dummy or picked his football up and went home as his authority was questioned and he didn’t like it. All speculation

Sounds like he wouldn’t step into line with our tyrannical board.Big Celtic fan and very progressive and he sussed out our penny pinching board.

The main worry I have is if Ange is Dom’s man will he walk away feeling that he wont be backed

That's pretty much my suspicion but it's only based on previous actions by our board.

I think more and more people are realizing that the main problem is DD..

    Too much control and influence.

This is a clear indicator that Ange will be moved on when it suits the board to bring in one of the bhoys, perhaps Gordon Strachan or even Neil Lennon could do another managerial stint?
Anyway, the board knows that the supporters don't know any better, they will keep buying season tickets, the board can again tick all the KPI's, the metrics, and keep earning six figure salaries..hail hail!

He also maybe talked a fantastic game. However if it was his choice for Strachan to oversee things would show the guy himself must have * all idea what a qaulity modern football setup is like and why would he? He's from Rugby. We need to go out and poach a guy running a very modern small club and doing fantastic at it.

Big Ange should drag Dermot Desmond up to the top tier of the North Stand and dangle him over the side by his ankles until he promises to gtf.

A testicular claw should do the trick. Either that, or we find out DD isn't a he.

I expect any of the moves dom made to involve the fans more such as media events and press conference questions will be quickly swept away.
That " team player" comment in the statement makes me sick reading between the lines, just very disheartening altogether.

    Something stinks for sure.

Remember, start of the summer, before he even officially took over, there was rumours he wasn't happy shadowing lawwell and he was close to walking away back then. Before he even took the gig full time.

Strachan gets the all clear, McKay walks out.

    Certainly stinks.

We put in a temporary guy, who's on essence a continuation of the "jobs for the boys" tactic we do, release a statement that then practically goes on to say the guys here for the long term.

    Wake up people.

If he has left for any other reason than personal or health problems then Dom needs to come out and say. He needs to call out the Board for what they are. If it is for professional reasons then I hope this uncertainty in the Boardroom doesn't filter down to the players just as we are starting tonget things right on the pitch.

Have you not learned anything about Celtic over the years, most don’t talk about what happened they just hint at certain problems ie Lawwell and that wee * Bankier.

I'd love for a Celtic fanzine writer or somebody similar to try and squeeze some info out of McKay.
