Going by this he should fit in well, all his pluses are basically about holding and passing a ball which is what we need.

Thought crossing seemed weird but he played 5 games at right-back for Stoke in the 2019-20 season so must have done a fair bit in those games. Thought the * may have been like Kounde from Seville or Denayer there when I see that skinning people and waltzing forward from centre-half lol

Supposedly that's his main strength.. he's a ball playing centre half.

Nodded off watching the English deadline tick away.

Wake up and see we’ve signed this big unit.

Absolutely delighted. Well done Dom McKay :hi5:

Pretty sure we'll have held up the loan insisting on this. Any idea the buyout price?

Club must be an absolute nightmare to deal with which somewhat has its benefits

Ctic July: "our new manager likes ccv"
Spurs " you can have him 4mill"
Ctic " Dermot is back at weekend, we will ring you back next week"…...................…................................................................>.......…................…............................…...................…......….
11.52pm 31/8/21: Spurs" ok we will give him to you for 2mill"
Ctic " dermots not here, we will call you back in morning.
    11.53pm 31/8/21: spurs " ah just * take him"

I’m honestly over the moon with this. Luton, Ipswich and Bournemouth fans are all pretty unanimous with their rave reviews of him. Still young at 24, strong as an Ox, an experienced international, known to our keeper and a guy we’ve been after for a while.

I was a bit iffy on his quality before he signed but having read fans’ comments on him I’m pretty delighted. Jullien Cameron and Welsh are three solid options at the back and maybe (yeesh) Starfelt can improve with less pressure on his shoulders.

    Ipswich fans comments on him:

    Dunno, cheap.

It took so long because they were trying to sell him today. They knocked us back weeks ago for a loan. They offered us him when their window shut at 11.

I think they are desperate to shift him so hopefully we get a good deal. He might smash it and they might * us about, that owner is a *. Look how he’s kept Kane hostage.

Honestly buzzing man. This was such a key signing to cap off our window. Basically permanent too with the option to buy. From what I’ve read I believe it will be in the region of £3m.

The only ones calling him * seemed to be our fans claiming they’d watched him, then based off their Conference League 1st leg.

Always a red flag when they never actually go into any detail on him.

Bournemouth fans absolutely rave about the guy, and he was apparently great at Luton prior, think this is a much better signing than people are giving credit for.

Guy is a unit, and the exact type of CB i’ve been desperate for us to get for a long long time.

Aye, over the moon. Essentially signed an entire team of players this window, and got rid of deadwood and bad apples.

    Well done Dom McKay.

Welcome! Very happy with this signing. Feeling a bit more optimistic that's for sure.

Wasn't too enamoured with this but just happy to get a CB in.

Did a wee bit of digging last night and now I'm far more optimistic.

Spurs fans, right up your this season, wanted him kept and included as cover. Many if them had high hopes for him a few years ago but his rep went a wee bit pair shaped.

Even still, the teams he's been loaned out too always seemed VERY satisfied with him, and in some cases he was considered essential to those sides.

He's only 23, but has more experience than half of the players in the EPL his age.

I'm actually starting to think he might be a bit if a masterstroke.

Totally agree. I absolutely despise loan deals unless a fee is already agreed that we can chose to activate or not at the end of the loan.

Anyone know what the fee with be if we want him outright at the end of the loan? Hopefully he turns out to be a good signing and that we do want to activate the buy clause because we for sure needed another center back in this window.
