He is a good player but always feel like he is shining when we are on top. If you compare him to even a commons type he just show himself on the big occasion. No doubt commons is someone we all dislike these days but commons could turn a game for is. He done it against the hun many of times and the one that sticks out in my mind was against shaktar karagandy. A few minutes before half time we look like we are going in 0-0 and commons scores a screamer. We come out for 2nd half all guns blazing for it. That pivotal moment put us right in the frame to turn the tie. Does Christie offer those moments in the big games. He just doesn't

Jota and another for left wing as our option's there will now be limited. Plus an energetic centre mid as our option's there will also be limited..

The Greek and another striker now have to come in..

Commons has become an insufferable * but he was a very good player for us. A big game player.

Christie just doesn't seem capable. There's been the odd flash here and there but largely poor in the important games.

 

If both christie and Eddie leave we had better not be just signing the Greek striker and jota tomorrow.

McCann for centre mid..

Jota was coming in so Lovric and McCann would replace Christie for both position's, which we need..

 

Why are these EPL teams leaving it so late in the window to bit for Christie and Eddie,*.Hope we have replacements ready to be signed.McCann easy replacement for Christie hopefully.

Jota can fill that role of Lovric til January as he looks a player to be fair, then maybe we'd go for him, or more likely Maeda from Japan..

We don't have that box to box, pacey, pressing type like McCann who can also sit and be disciplined..

Christie needs his goals/assists replaced and his energy from central midfield also. A Lovric or a McCann on it's on doesn't do that..

 

Such a frustrating player, a bit like Armstrong in his last season, we know what he’s capable of but rarely ever produced it when the pressure was on and we needed a big performance.
