Starfelt being * doesn't make Bitton any better he's let us down time and time again

 

A game is played over 90 minutes. You don't win a game with the same 11 players wherever you are winning or losing. You can't seriously defend the board here

 

My point is it’s not ridiculous to suggest Bitton should start. They’re both as bad as each other. Bitton is the slightly better option in my opinion.

 

Yeah but that falls on the board for not giving us a decent defence but I actually thought Starfelt and the defence in general were ok today

 

It's about getting that mentality across, the mentality of always looking to be brave and looking for thst forward pass, top often today we took the easy option.

 

If we get Jota and Giakumaikis in we still absolutely need another centre half. I’ve given up saying we need both a CB and LB. Cannot see us signing a left back when we’ve got Taylor, Monty, Scales and Bolingoli at the club but we do need one.

 

That's my thinking too.. defence was good today because midfield and attack was pathetic..

 

I feel that Ange was let down by certain players today and not the ones that I expected. I felt we generally defended well but our midfielders and forwards just weren't showing. Our bench is so poor, I don't feel he had many options at all. He needs help.

 

Am absolutely sick after today, but I think Ange will get it right and take us to the title. Think he will pressure the board to deliver. Still think early signs are good, this is all new to him but think he learns quickly.

 

Think we all know he shoulda had Kyogo in the middle. Eddie doesnt fit Ange football, i think this was a higher decision. That altered the whole team dynamic from the start. Its August which is good, we seem to have better players coming in so hopefully it all works out. I'm not as * of as i thought I'd be after that result.

 

I'm the same, when we lost 2 nil last year It honestly * me over for a week, but this time I'm nowhere near as bad.

For me, Ange made mistakes, he admitted to one, but we are far, far better than last year and I honestly think he'll win us the league.

I just hope we have more than the Greek boy coming in, need at least another CB and LW preferably.

 

I honestly can’t see it, they where missing their captain, Keeper, and manager.

End of the day its only 3 points... yeah its horrible losing to those mutant * but there's along way to go..

Come along way from the * that served up last season and its very early days in this rebuild..

See how we are fixed after the window but its clear we are still Miles off what is needed..

 

Rather Murray got more game time than that other * liability Bitton.

 

Not impressed today at all, same with AZ game, we where pretty *.

 

The biggest thing for me is how different we'll look next time we face them.

They were missing a few people aye, but only McGregor was a loss for them, Tavernier out was a blessing in disguise as Balogun was excellent, Gerrard out was a loss aye but not a major one, theyll have had their tactics set out for this game in advance.

When we face them in January, Jullien, Jota, Forrest, Mccarthy, Scales and Giakoumakis will all be available to us, there wont be a half arsed Christie + Edouard playing either.

Obviously it's hard to feel optimistic after a loss so I get where you're coming from, but this was night and day compared to the 2-0 loss to them last tear, I'm certain we can win the league this year.

Hope he learns from today and we can mount a title challenge. They would have imploded had we managed a win today.

 

Today, we played with a bastardized tactic/lineup. It's actually hard to gauge what this result means. We deviated from the St. Mirren lineup quite a bit, and this wasn't truly forced.
