I don't think the defence was the problem today.In the first half we looked more like scoring,then half time and that mob went up a level or two and we simply stayed in the dressing room.

 

Yeah a few weeks ago I'm sure that number was a lot higher. Even with the Greek and Jota (who are both unproven - especially the latter), we're severely short. Injuries and burnout could massively curtail our title hopes in the next few months unless we get at least 4 quality bodies in. We know that won't happen though.

 

I can’t blame him too much because I would of started pretty much the same team. Eddy and Christie let him down, Turnbull never turned up and on another day Kyogo would of burried at least one of the chances.

 

We werent miles off full strength today, a few more injuries and we'd be in big trouble.

 

The defence were fine today, they had to deal with lots of pressure because the our midfield lost almost every battle.

 

Of course I'd have started that team, but seeing what is happening and changing it is key , he never done it , loads of things.

It might not have made a diff , but you need to improvise , calmac was doing 2 midfield jobs , then even ended up chasing things down in their wings.

Lesson learned hopefully

 

You could have been describing a number of our defeats against them last season there.

 

He made mistakes today, he acknowledged he made mistakes, and they won't happen again.

At the same time, if Edouard scored, Rangers would've opened up more trying to equalise and we would've had more opportunities to score and we'd be praising Ange.

For the record, I always thought Kyogo should've started in the centre and not Edouard. He made a big mistake with that, and then again for taking to long to move Kyogo there.

 

To win a game you need options off the bench. We had rogic and that was it.

Yeah wasn't an issue today but I mean in general if we don't bring anymore in any injury and we're looking at Bitton again

 

pretty sure we had a 5m pound striker as an unused sub as well

 

Its crazy to say but I'd play Bitton rn.

 

Nah not buying that at all it helps obviously but that starting team had enough in it if we just swapped Eddy and Kyogo. Today for me is on the manager not the board we've all said he needs a defence which the board have not given him but the defence was fine today
