It's more people were praising him as our savior and now suddenly he's being slated. We are in a transition, we need to be patient with this.

 

Personnel let us down today, not management.

French Eddy taps that one in, 20 mins left Kyogo scores the second.

At that point I'm having the angriest * to careless whisper, and not playing lead guitar on Comfortably Numb.

 

No chance , management was the let down 100%

So many glaring things should have been changed , it wasn't

 

I'm not saying he was bad, pretty daunting match the debut in.
I totally agree about the forwards wasting chances.
I just think maybe playing the system we've been set up to play would've been the best way to go, I wonder whether ange didn't think Juranovic was ready for it but didn't have faith in Montgomery.

Either way, there's alot to learn and I think we'll be better for the week we've had, a few days to fill squad gaps and a good measure of where we stand against them, we've got alot more space for improvement than they do.

 

I agree we should have more players in 100% but we can't just blame the board anytime we lose a game. We had enough on the park to win that today we were the better team first half by some distance all that was needed was a slight tweak which we seen when it eventually happened late in the second half

 

It's one thing to say that we looked better after taking Edouard off, but the fact that they were a goal up and happy to sit further back had something to do with that. Bring Rogic on when it was 0-0 and you have the looks of a midfield which could have been easily overrun, as it was against AZ.

 

Pish mate, score the first we stroll through that.

Management was a factor, but thin lines.

 

I honestly think had he started Kyogo through the middle or at least changed it at 0 0 we win that today. I think the system was fine I just think he got the team wrong

Squad is thread bare, incapable of competing against them as is.

 

The inability to tell abada and kyogo to switch sides, even after 15 mins kyogo no joy down the left, abada absent , even swapping eddy and kyogo , nothing.

Then he puts a midfielder on and takes a striker off straight after we lose a goal.

This is all down to the manage and his poor tactics

 

He made a few bad calls today no doubt but overall I'm impressed with him.

 

I said before game started I wanted him through middle. I said at half time, if we played him there we would be leading at HT.
The fact of the matter is Ange sat on his * for far too long and didn't change a single thing.

 

The board are *..we all know that...but if he think we are happy to accept this squad,then the board better put up higher * fences.

 

Definitely mate , I like his style and what he's trying to do but today everything was just wrong , learning curve and he's the type of guy that will change it for the next game unlike lennon who was too stubborn

 

Got it wrong today but he was probably reacting to thinking he got it wrong against Alkmaar during the week.

The reality is what Ange has been saying for weeks we are 4 first team players short and a couple of injuries away from being left with a bench full of guys he doesn’t want. We have no first team left winger in the team for a start so when our auxiliary left winger Forrest is injured we end up putting our main striker there.

Our Striker doesn’t want to be here so puts in a half hearted effort but the other option upfront can’t even get on. We have limited proven CM’s and the others are clearly not trusted we badly need a strong player in there who has a good range of passing and can carry the ball.

A left back who is an attacking left back is another massive hole.

There is absolutely no depth to the squad at the minute so when we have a hard game like Thursday the options to change it are so limited.

 

Abada could have played the part of King Leonidis up front and would have still f7cked up, the game passed him by...often happens with a young teen.

Our bench had as much meat as Kenny Everett....bare bones.

Tough week. Getting through Europe and even a draw today would have been lovely. Changes let us down, or lack thereof. Kyogo can’t be played out wide left anymore.

Need bodies in badly or we won’t win the league. Need to hit the ground running after the international break and win those 4 games before the next break

 

He said at his press conference the other day he wants another 1 or 2 I assumed the Greek striker and Jota. He'll win * all with that defence
