The reality is Starfelt isn't good enough. There is no amount of time that will change that.

Trying to make out that that cheat didn't play him like a fiddle is indeed an lol moment..

Trying to make out he didn't get completely bullied and caught under the ball for their winner is an even bigger lol moment..

Handled them well though, apart from those moments and the time he gives costly freekicks away..

There’s players who I’m prepared to give time to, but they’ve got to show something to warrant it. You see good players go through difficult spells all the time, but I just don’t see what he actually does well.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I actually think Bitton is a better centre half. He’s at least composed on the ball.

 

Tbf the “lol” didn’t seem to send and in that few seconds I got a grip and said “good chat” because I’m not 13.

I just don’t this think that corner is defendable but someone considerable smaller than the man attacking the ball and I don’t think a cheat who is obviously cheating and had a horrific game should be praised against a defender who’s meeting him for the first time.

Thought he done well today and there was far worse than him, least he got stuck in

 

For me, done well enough today, apart from one rugby style tackle.
He does seem to get too tight at times.

 

He played ok.

There were far worse offenders than him today.

 

For me that was part of the problem. Getting too tight and giving away really soft free kicks. Just seemed really stupid.

He wasn't an abomination today, but he's just not got it.

 

Yeah, huns were going down soon as he went near them, he will learn that.

All in all from what Ive seen he's nowhere near good enough..

 

You must watch different games from me. Starfelt and Juranovic were amongst our best performers today.

 

I'd agree with Juranovic but Srarfelt wasn't great in my view.

He looked the most dodgy out of all our defenders.

He wasn't the worst player on the park , Christie was, but he was never convincing either.

 

The reaction to his performance is far too negative, he actually did well for the majority of the game but yes he was at fault for their goal. There are signs he can still be a solid player for us.

 

He’s a big useless * get him out of the team now before things get worse with him

 

I don't think he was awful although I feel Morelos had him in his back pocket when it came to aerial duels he gave away so many fould by getting to tight. For the goal as much as he is beat to the header I find hard to blame him as Helander has the run on him I'd be looking at the overall marking as to why he essentially gets a free run and header. All that being said I still think he's utter * and don't want him near the team

 

Again, he could be playing like Maldini and I'd still be clamouring for another CB, criminal we've not got one yet.

 

I’ve said it for long enough, not good at all. His best game for us today. That’s how bad he’s been.
