Normally I enjoy your posts but you are off the mark here I think, we dominated most of the match and should have scored via Eddy and if that goes in the game is different, blaming Ange so early in his career here is nonsense

 

Always just looks for a penalty anytime he’s infront of goal and half the time I think he goes for the dive even if there is a decent chance of scoring.

 

Aye I can agree but we need to see these 2 players a bit more, Monty was up against it but in other games (friendlies) he seemed quite attacking and seemed the part but is still young. Don't know enough about Scales

 

Ange should have taken Edouard and Turnbull off sooner. That's about my only criticism of him today. Needed to be quicker to make the changes but we didn't play badly at all. We were the better team and the better team by some way. These * have had this team together for nearly 3 years. We are 10 weeks into a new manager tenure, we always knew it was going to take time. We are in transition and ultimately things will gel the more games we played. Defensively, I thought we were ok. We limited them to * all. Yes, it's disappointing but it's 3 points. That's it.

 

No doubt we'll sign players who then get injured. Squad depth is * pathetic. Forrest and McCarthy out injured also.

 

He would of scored probably if he didn’t slip. But the slip was followed by staring at the ref and hands up.

 

Think playing Eddie up front was a mistake and with 10 minutes to go why did we put Monty on and just went for it with Ajeti as we had nothing to lose .

 

Couldnt attack down the left as Juranovic was on his wrong foot. Huns knew exactly what he was gonna do each time.

Couldn't attack down the right as Ralston is a very limited attacking player, he's always gonna drop the shoulder and run onto his own ball.

Turnball, Christie, Eddy - incredibly slow players through the middle. No pace, no movement. Everything was in front of the hun defence.

We created more in the last 15 minutes with Kyogo up front running lines in behind than the first 75.

Ange got it wrong today with Eddy upfront. Even the chance Eddy had to score was created by Kyogo's movement in behind.

Beyond that we only have 13/14 or so players, we're a wet blanket of a side that has too few men and too many professional gimps.

 

* poor second half from us. The huns were gash as well. Kyogo needs to play through the middle.

 

Our bench today was worrying,think its why we didnt see the changes early.

 

I agree we need a striker, a left winger, a box to box technically good mobile midfielder and a good centre half. Edoaurd out

Typical against them reallly, play well at times, never took our chances and they always threaten from breakaways and set pieces and got one.

Some of our play was pretty good but really we needed the first goal, once they got it they could sit back and they are comfortable doing it - even done it in the first half.

We'd probably get more joy out them with Steve Clark as manager. Sit back let them have the ball as they lack creativity and try and counter them but it's not our style.

 

The fact that we didn’t even test that shocking goalkeeper is so bad man.

Thought Édouard might be up for the occasion but nah… Kyogo put him to shame, he was in behind 3 times in the space of 10 mins of Édouard going off.

If only we’d changed it earlier and actually went for it before the last 5 minutes.

Ange took far too long to change it and only ended up doing so when we went behind, something Lennon loved doing.

McGregor done my nut in with the constant back passing to defenders and goalkeeper. Could probably count on one hand the amount of forward passes he made today.

Disappointing derby day yet again.

 

We missed three great chances to score, Rangers barely did anything and scored from a corner, can't quite believe we've lost that game. Edouard will hopefully be sold before the window, that's one of the positives I can take from today an absolute imposter.

They werent great but they were efficient, thats how the Huns play. The first half they were quite happy to let us have the ball and pass it around creating nothing. Second half they pressed us more, forcing mistakes, their midfield was better organised and were more physical.

 

We didn't dominate, we had a lot more possession especially the first half , big difference from dominating and having all the possession. Their keeper had to wait until the last 10 or something before making a save.

 

We have too many wasters in the squad like boli and griff and Johnston and bitton alot of wages getting wasted .
We need a physical midfielder in the middle of the park still haven't replaced broonie .

 

To be fair, we did. He saved it by a toe. Biggest save in the match.

 

Gutted watching this game.
I do not want to see Edouard's face again. What a feeble attempt at goal, and with the wrong foot. What is he trying to do, impress us ? Moves around as if he is on valium.
Juranovic impressed me.Expect big things from him.
Montgomery moved with confidence and is fearless.
Why is Abada not getting any service on the right wing ? He was left isolated. We went down the left too often.

We gave Rangers too much respect in the first half. Should have put them under the pump from the start.
Gargoyle/prune-face Morelos is a cheating *, falls down at a hint of a breeze. Should have been booked for simulation.
Kyogo out of the game in the first half, and out of position. We missed him having scoring chances during that time.
Abada can play at right inside forward also.

Is Turnball having trouble crossing a ball above 4 feet in height ?

Obviously I am * off right now. Was sure we would win this tonight. Boys are still weary from Thursday night.

Definately need an orthodox left winger. At present we have no one to do the job properly.

Will be having a Whisky I think. Maybe 5.
