When I saw the team I turned to the lad and said Eddy shouldnt be on, Kyogo up the middle with Juranović LB and Montgomery LW .

Christie was poor and should have went off, Edouards miss was pivotal the whole complex of the second half would have been different we started to threaten more with Koyogo through the middle but too many players didn’t play up Turnbull, Abada, may as well have been selling macaroon and chewing gum at least they would have been useful

Ralston and the new defender were our best players, Cal Mac needs help in the middle either McCarthy or Soro needs to play beside him to let him control the passage from defence to attack,

one game does not define the season and Ange needs to learn from that, we need to be able to keep up the transition from defence to attack quicker and midfielders need to get beyond the striker for it be effective, we have a break now for 2-3 weeks for internationals which will help some players settle in like Joe Hart, the others will be off on international duty I just hope we get rid of Eddy and Christie and get in a couple of new players

First half we was good, felt the game would go our way despite eddys world class miss.
Hopefully now the manager will see how * useless eddy is up front and not do that again this season.
Christie was back to last season, all energy and nothing useful, the amount of times he lost the ball was laughable.
    Turnbull just looked tired.
The new signing did not look out of place and i would think that's him in the team now while taylor plays cards with eddy in the stand for the rest of the season.
Defence did well, never thought we would play this game and only lose a single goal.
Half time won this game, they came back out fired up and we came out and looked like a team playing away from home that thought it would lose.
If you offered me this weeks results a month ago i would have accepted it.
It the first rangers game for many in this team and for the manager,Ange talks a good game so we will see what he learns from this, thankfully its very early in the season and plenty time to recover.

Just watched the goal again there why is he not man marked even just to put him off his run the guy just gets a free run right on to the ball. Terrible, just basic defending. 6.4 defender just let him have free will in your penalty area.

    * me, the score is not deserved. To be fair, it was a * match all round, quality was poor. But I thought we controlled the play, well majority. One of those games.

There was nothing wrong with starting Edouard up top. No one could reasonably predict he would play that badly.

The problem is Ange waited 65 minutes to fix it, even as he got worse and worse.

If they had scored on 75 minutes then Edouard would’ve been on until 76.

What should worry everyone is Ange waited until he was losing before changing it.

If that has been Lennon he’d be getting slaughtered. It was shitebag management and very poor.

I feel like he’s held back on subs a few times now. He needs to sort it. Hopefully it was just the occasion today and he will learn from it.

Can see it being a case of the home team win their games in these "Derbies"

Formation, decisive 2 touch passing, all missing that was utter * and putting Kyogo out on the far left * were you thinking of Ange, totally useless out there, that was a brutal watch nothing at all like the way we have been playing, utter mince, best thing about it was we got to see JJ and i'm impressed by him.

Juranović can give more at RB. Rotate him with Ralston.

Really disappointed with that. They were there for the taking and we fluffed it.

    Fine margins decided that match.

Having said that, I didn't think we'd be in a position to challenge them.

Like I said, bitterly disappointed we didn't make them pay.

    * back the manager you *! * hate the board still. Nothing has changed with that.

we've to many players who have been at the club far to long, no fight and no desire.
not a criticism, just the way players are. you get into, not so much a rut but more apathy

Anyone who thinks we were the better team today is deluded. That was a very poor performance. Edouard is a joke. Christie founders in the big games. Starfelt is a liability. Abada for all his potential did nothing. Turnbull didn't show up. We didn't get going at all throughout the game, no urgency and I think you could see Ange was not happy. I think we were out fought. The Board should be all removed from their positions to btw. 6 defeats in the last 7 to them.

Juranovic was good. Looks a really good player. I'll maintain what I said earlier, Edouard cost us. If he scores that, huns sit back.

Very difficult for me to criticise any of our players other than him today.

I don’t think I’ve felt worse after a defeat to them.

The consequences for them would have been catastrophic had we won there.

We didn’t deserve to lose but we always manage to * defeat from the jaws of victory.

Reminded me so much of playing against * Walter Smith teams and getting stifled.

Defence stepped up and midfield and attack let the team down ... hilarious irony in that

Apart from Kent hitting the post and whoever the * scored, they weren't great.

Still think we deserved a draw at least.
