I actually thought we were the better team for the majority of that game. They came out better in the second half but if Eddy scores that open goal, we win the game comfortably. Rangers were mince. Starfelt was getting sucked in far too often and that fat wee * was buying fouls from him every * time. Ref could have let a few go no problem. All in all, it's disappointing but we are 10 weeks into a completely new managers tenure and we needed to give him time. It was a big test for him and he's ultimately come up short this time. We go again. It's 3 points, let's get another winning run going and put pressure on the *.

Pass marks are- Juranovic, Ralston and Calmac.

Everyone else needs to step up a fair whack. Given who was in goals, we should have been creating far more than we did. Should have been testing him far more and he's had one save to make really. Disappointing overall but the bigger picture is, it's 3 points and we were the better team overall. I have no doubt in my mind that come January, we will return the favour against them.

 

If that was Lennon today * would be going tonto! How the * he sat and watched that and left the changes so late is beyond me.

We were too hesitant going forward and our passing wasn’t as good as it could be. Going backwards way too often and did not really use our attacking pace. We really should have ran in behind and used our wingers more. Having said that had Edouard scored that sitter and Kyogo squared that ball to Christie then we would be laughing here.
Turnbull, Christie and Edouard was poor today. Abada hardly had the ball but our defence was decent today.

poor game and probably a draw would have been a fair result. I still think we are better than them. Kyogo is not a winger and Ralston was our best player

 

We are only 9 weeks into Ange's system, a game we should have won but never thought that was possible even 4 weeks ago. Improvements are there. I get that it is disappointing to lose though

Spot on Gyp, terrible fae ange. Playing all this fancy football and scoring for fun against yer st mirrens etc is easy it’s these games that matter as we all know.

Only positive was the defence, thought it was solid other than the goal..

If we lose Eddy and Christie Im not that bothered now..

I've got to agree 100% with this! No decent wingers either today which makes playing a 4-3-3 very difficult.

 

How can you say we're 2 transfer windows away from competing with them. We clearly competed with them today and if we'd taken our chances we could have won against them at Ibrox with no Celtic fans there and a team only assembled in the past month. We will improve over the next month or two and can easily beat them in the remaining derbies and win the league. It's disappointing today but we weren't too far away from a win and played well in spells. No need for panic and over the top negativity.

Especially the middle 3 . The amount of times they hid behind a rangers player when our defence had the ball.

Also continually passed back instead of taking it on the half turn and playing forward .

Christie and Turnbull are just not good enough for the big games . Simple as that.

Still thought we controlled majority of the game - like we did in most games against them last season but have again been done from a set play.

not sure why we allowed on of their cbs to go unmarked from a corner .

Agreed, I think he can be effect9ve there but we lost so much with him wide, I think, myself included, gave the huns too much respect and thought we needed a physical presence up front

 

Woeful performance 2nd half midfield was a disgrace, somehow even worse than some of the games last year where we actually created chances, a reality check for us, handed it on a plate with their covid stuff and they still beat us a really * poor day all around, we've still a long way to go to get the title back.
