Liel Abada

The bhoy is class and only going to get better. His pace and cross was great for the goal against AZ.

 

He's a bit rough around the edges but he's got some ability and gives it a good go. Always bothered me when we played Frimpong on the wing that he could be very hesitant waiting for the perfect opportunity. Abada's a lot more positive and I think that'll aid him in bigger games.

It is crazy to think he is only 19 considering how good he has looked so far. He has an eye for goal. The percentage of his crosses that are high quality is very high and I love how eager to run at defenders he is. If this is who we have at just 19 boy we will need to get him a contract extension in the next couple of years because this lad looks like he can go a long way.

 

He will roast barasic hes as slow as * same with balogun and goldson if kyogo is through the middle.

 

So so poor today.

Never showed for the ball during the game. Left Ralston isolated defensively as well. Was a complete and utter wasted jersey.

I hope he is not going to be one of those players who disappears in the big games..

Said it before but he’s redundant when the ball is played into him and he has to take it under pressure or come back the way.

 

Very poor today. Thats the reality of being 19 though, for most players at least. There will be a degree of inconsistency in his game.

Forrest was a big miss today.

it’s almost certain Forrest would’ve started instead of Abada if he was available.

The game completely passed him by, did nothing at all. At 19 years old hopefully he will learn but we missed James Forrest big time today. Even when Forrest is having a quiet game he has proven time and time again he can produce a goal scoring moment either from an assist or goal.
