    No, but apparently close to signing for Venezia. He’d definitely be top of my wish list, but at a fee of close to €6m there’s no way we’ll sign him without selling Edouard.

    I think with this guy and Henry, it shows the way the board work. They try and line people up, agree deals and only pull the trigger when someone leaves. Leaves us open to other teams coming in but the reality is we don't need 5 strikers

    In this case I can understand that. We would all love another striker but in reality unless Eddy moves on we don't have the space for one. Especially a £5m first team ready one. Eddy, Ajeti, Kyogo and Griffith's are all options there and the board won't sanction another wage unless one, namely Eddy moves on. I can't say I disagree.

    Given the wackiness of last season - Lille, Sevco etc. winning their leagues - I’d hardly take his record as proof he’s not a dud.

    Move on to someone who has scored prolifically throughout their career, please.

    The reason I'm bot too disappointed is that nobody within his league seem to be interested in him. Surely if he was that good Ajax, PSV and even Alkmaar would be chasing him?

    Not overly disappointed by this, much rather have Nisbet. We need fast, clever players that work their socks off, as that suits Anges style. Have a feeling this guy was a one season wonder, as per I'm happy to be proven wrong time will tell.

    I'm inclined to think this one is a Griffith's replacement.
    As will nesbit if we made that switch happen.

    For me, neither are the edouard replacement and I'm a little surprised we've not been active in shifting him on yet.

    Just hope we actually have an edouard replacement lined up if he does move on.
    Ideally we should be doing what we done while we had Dembele though, and having his replacement already here.
