I get Thom being in there now. Wee bit of bite against that powerful Celtic team from the 10s

    2000’s one

    Boruc

    Agathe Mjallby Bobo Guppy

    Naka Lambert Petrov Thompson

    Larsson Sutton

Surely there’s a better left back? Who the * am I missing here, only others I can remember is Mark Wilson playing there, Lee Naylor, trying to convert Valgaeren into one, Ulrik Laursen, Danny Fox and * Braafheid.

Classy as well, his passing and shooting was excellent. Close between him and Collins though.

    Di Canio right mid?

Question-did Di Canio, Hoojdonk and Cadete play together many times? Were there 2 preferred and 1 on the bench usually or did they play all 3 up front together? A bit too young to remember.

Was superb on the wing as well, and was I * not having any of Lubo, Larsson, Viduka and him left out of that team :56:

Mostly a right back and past his sell by date in the early 2000’s but the argument could be made

Tommy generally played a 2-2-6 so aye, they played together while they were here :giggle1:

Aye, there’s a few season review videos of Tommy’s teams kicking about, ones I go back and watch from time to time because some of his football was * insane.

Some of my enjoyable memories even though we didn’t win much. So exciting though. If the great man even had one ounce of pragmatism it might have went a lot different.

Saying that, think it was 96 we only lost one game, 11 draws killed us.

Think the season we moved to 3 points that was, and if it was still 2 points for a win that’d have won the league.

I’m appalled that Mo Camara hasn’t been mentioned.

Yep. Think they only lost one as well. Couple more wins done it for us. Heartbreaking.

Think that was the season the derby matches * us. We blew them away but could not put the ball in the net. That was the season Tommy said about the tombstone thing about that orange * Goram.

Tell you what, that reminds me it might actually be Momo Sylla just for his performances on the way to Seville

I could be wrong, but I'm sure McNamara played left back whenever Agathe was playing. That might have just been for 1 or 2 seasons, but I think when we switched from 352 to 442 Jackie was predominantly left back.

Aye you’re wrong, he did a few times though It was mostly Valgaeren or Ulrik Lauraen. Jackie spent his time in a myriad of different positions, a few times was left back but it wasn’t a regular occurence

As soon as I posted I remembered Valgaeren was pushed to left back when we changed formation. Jackie was good anywhere you wanted to play him though, so feel free to put him there. :84:

Always felt bad for Valgaeren being put there, he was an out and out centre half who just happened to be ok on the ball.

Get’s my vote. Being part of the winning team at Anfield is enough for me.
