I think we start to wilt around 70 minutes every game. We need more players that have the engine to suit Ange's style. Christie exemplifies that with honourable mentions to Kyogo and Ralston. But middle to front we need a couple more players who can do it for 90 minutes.

We certainly do and we certainly need more bodies.
Think this is half what Ange means by saying he needs numbers.

But we've also been woefully unfit in the last two years and we are paying for that as well.

In time that will get better, but it needs help with additions still.

What was pleasing to see, was good subs tonight. Bringing McCarthy and soro on helped slow the game down a bit, but kept us in control.
It was a well managed game.

Something I didn't think Ange would achieve this quickly

    Great signs going forward.

I think it's important to reflect on where you were as a supporter base about 10 weeks ago....

Whats also mad is how he's won the support so early.

    Infectious.

If I had a wife he could come over, woo her and seduce her then I would guide him into her then make him spag bol while he emptied his baws.

Probably wipe him down afterwards as well.

I've watched his teams in his professional career and he has not made such an impact on the team and fans as he has at Celtic in such a short space of time It really is astonishing on so many different levels.

I love him. I just love watching him stroll about like a Da in that jumper.

He just seems like the perfect fit in every way. He could build something really special here.

I believe this revelation may be one of the many reasons you don't have a wife @Sean Daleer.

Spag bol doesn't impress anyone anymore.

Showed tonight he’s a pragmatic manager as well, getting us to just sit a little deeper and hold our shape then go long to Eddy and stretch the game.

It’s one thing we always missed under Rodgers in Europe, not being naive thinking we can press and play good football for full 90 mins against quality teams.

Genuinely my ex wife said she fell in love with me as on our third date I made her spag Bol. That was 1995 though :giggle1:

23 years later she was like spag bol again? Make a Thai curry ya boring *

    Then she was gone.

More spag bol for me though. Silver linings.

Even first half I felt we weren’t as gung ho as domestic duties. Still pouring forward but with just a little bit of “don’t get too far ahead of the ball”

Loved (and feared) the triangles being played out from the back. So good to do that to a Dutch team!

I do remember thinking that by players accepting passes closer and under more pressure they are actually making more room and making it easier for themselves.

    Ange is a perverse genius.

The difference would be the level of players. A core of Christie, Rogic, MacGregor and Turnbull helps. They might have been poor last season but they are quality players and the quality doesn’t disappear.

Their ability to play one and two touch football puts Ange’s transformation ahead of schedule. Also I think that a few of them having played under Rodgers will have been a massive help, both technically and tactically.
