Decent first half.. Still shakey at the back..Taylor and Starfelt give me the fear..

    Going forward very good..

Hart looks solid.. some great saves

Going to be a fun season that's for sure. We are looking 60 minute tired at 40 though...

2nd half is going to be very open.

Could do with a McCarthy in midfield IMO. Some huge gaps in there.

I think its only a matter of time before they score. Theyre a good side.

Thing is he is a right winger, his strongest side is on the right, when he plays on the right it’s much better.

It’s not the first time in his career he has been put on the left and it hasn’t worked.

For me you don’t play a right back at left back and expect them to play the same way they do in their natural position.

I think Ange saw this and switched it near the end of the half.

For me the biggest negative was some of the glaring gaps in midfield and defence that if it wasn't for Hart and some poor play from AZ we were wide open.

Better teams would punish us which could lead to some hefty defeats.

    Entertaining tho :ange2:

Glad we are winning. It's a nervous watch, too much tension.

Really hoping they tire and we get 2 more goals. If we do get through these 2 legs we need better players for this system.

AZ are decent but we are making it hard for ourselves.

People can't relax or have confidence because our defending is all over the place and we don't know how to practice game-management.

Our passing hasn’t been as sharp especially in the final third. If we get that right we can score a couple more in the second half. Think Forrest offers too little on the left especially with (waste of a shirt) Taylor who doesn’t offer much support and offers so little going forward since he cannae dribble or cross.

In some ways it mad how Anthony Ralston is our most solid defender...

But given his improvements under Ange then I shouldn’t be surprised.

I’d maybe stick Chrisfie on that left side if he’s available?

Christie and his energy in this style of football is such a massive miss right now

Had to have a nervy half time poo.

We look like we'd score every time we went forward but also like we'd concede every time they went forward.

He is not a left winger though. He is getting on now and for me having him is a great option.

We don’t have a natural left winger at the moment so he has had to fill in.

He would be able to provide more if he was playing on the right.

Abada is playing brilliant at the moment and should be the starting right mid but having Forrest also makes us very strong in that position.

    Rakston been class, again.

Starfelt looks to be shiiite. He's like Ambrose on the ball, everytime he touches it you * yersel.
Taylor is just miles aff it. Nowhere near good enough.

Tbh I don't think Rogic, Turnbull or Forrest have had a particularly good first half. Kyogo hasn't had much service.
