    It come from aussie rules, the cheer squads behind the goals wave those stick things with streamers hanging out.they are called floggers.(after cat o nine tails apparently)
    shortened to flog and put to aussie slang. And if you flog yourself ,well thats another story

    I see at the end there when asked about having Abada and griff back he mentioned Abada and various players but not Griff. Probs knew the journo was fishing about griff possibly but happy with his response to the question and also all the other questions.
