McClean and Duffy are both diddy’s mate.

If they weren’t Tim’s from Derry I’m going to say that literally no one on here would’ve wanted them.

 

Kyogo needs to be managed well very soon.

We need to give Ange the players to allow him to rotate Kyogo better later in the season.

He already played 21 or so games in Japan as their season was already well under way.

It shows right now because he's clearly the most match fit, sharpest player in Scotland with his movement, pace and finishing, but soon he will reach 40 odd games played whilst the rest of our squad are on 20and that tiredness will surely show.

 

I disagree, as would a lot of people in the football world. McCleans a bit too old now but in his prime he’d have brought a lot to us.

 

To be fair with Duffy at the time he seemed like a good signing that made sense. He had been brilliant for Ireland as bad we were are and have been for while and always did a good job with Brighton so I was happy we got him at the time. It really does seem like the personal situations with his family were a big factor in just how badly the season went for him. But no question the season was a disaster for him and for us.

 

Needs his name changed.

You're right. I noticed this a couple of years ago when I was going to get a name on the back of my Celtic top. In the end I saved some money and got no name. Samaras is maybe the last truly iconic player that I'd have gotten on a shirt.

Longevity makes a difference. Dembele was electric, but you knew he'd be gone before you had a chance to really adore him. Same goes for VVD.

The fact we'll be raking in cash from Eastern Asia will give us even more incentive not to sell. Screw Dubai, let's have the winter break in Japan!

Not to a truly iconic status no.

He was the most frustrating * I’ve ever clapped my eyes on in a Celtic top.

 

Annoys me to * when * try and paint Samaras as some sort of legend at the club. He was utter * 75% of the time, couple of decent games in the champions league has blinded *.

 

He certainly divided a lot of the support and is more subjective than other icons because of how he played in the SPFL/SPL. But he almost always excelled in big games, which is where it's most important.
Anyway, I don't want to start a Samaras debate, I was just pointing out he is the only one I'd have thought about getting on my shirt (I didn't). Kyogo could be the next.
