Pretty common expression in Glasgow. Get your mind out the gutter you filthy boy.

I expect him to score in every game we play and am disappointed when he doesn't.

Hes 27 by the end of this season. If he doesn't move by 28 (summer 2023) assuming he continues this form, I see no reason why he might not stay.

Doubt English sides will be willing to pay way into the millions for a 28/29 year old. We may just have got him at the perfect time.

English sides don't think about money like the other leagues. Dropping about £10M for an established player to get you a season or 2 is chump change to them. There's no guarantee they'll step off because of his age, and I assure you that if he keeps scoring a goal a game for us they'll be sniffing all about him

I could see him staying with us for his contract, maybe an additional year, then returning to Japan.

Goal is to keep him past next summer, which I think we will tbh.

Aye but we wouldn't sell for £10m he would be too valuable to us if he continued this sort of form.

Thats what I mean, at 29 you're not going to sell someone for £25-40m in Scotland.

We could be set to get him for his prime years. It's a mental thought.

Yeah, but he was EVERYWHERE, and involved with EVERYTHING in that game. Then he scored too on top of it. If he keeps playing like this we'll be getting bids for him THIS season.

He looks a lot like the Van Dijks and Larsson type players we seem to find regularly, where you just feel they're almost wasted in Scotland and we should enjoy them while they're here, because they're destined for bigger.

    Money in the bank mate.

I've lived in Asia for a decade. And they're mad for any team that has Asian players.

All southeast Asian kids are obsessed with Japanese and Korean youth culture. Football translates to that now too, it's not just the * awful music and sexually ambiguous fashion sense.

I've seen Bologna shirts, Bordeaux shirts, Spurs shirts... All with the corresponding Asian player on the back. They imitate to aspire in many ways.

In fact, they are quite the glory hunters when it comes to merch. When Leicester won the EPL the amount of foxes shirts I saw around Saigon was staggering.

When Liverpool won the the league some * zoomer in the apartment block next to me had the Mercedes ornament removed from his red car and replaced with LFC.

Incidentally, I saw my first adidas Celtic shirt in a supermarket last week. Only the fourth time in Seven years I've seen a Celtic shirt over here on a native. (Totally a Chinese knock off though, although admittedly, the knock offs are actually great, I've an Argentina and a Belgium one lol)

My mate from Shizuoka is football mad. He's a Barca supporter, but has already ordered both the home and away tops, with Kyogo on the back. Hes living in Canada now, and says all of his football following friends in his Japanese community over there are really looking at Kyogo and Celtic.

    As I said.

I know that it's important to temper our expectations and keep cool heads, but I think Kyogo Furuhashi might be the greatest footballing legend to ever grace the face of *'s Earth

He really reminds me of Di Canio. Exciting, pacey and intelligent. Di Canio was a complete zoomer though and you were never really sure he wouldn't fly kick someone. Furuhashi will be a fans favourite. Let"s hope he stays for quite a while.

His work ethic and drive to perform in every match is amazing to watch.

The goal he scored and then celebrated initially with the way he was layed out on the floor, you'd think he hadn't scored in 25 games and a massive weight had been lifted.

He's putting a lot of pressure on himself, so hopefully he can have assistance with monitoring that so he doesn't burn out.
