Scottish football is largely *. Australian football is largely *. It’s hard to properly compare them without the teams playing each other.

Best thing we can do is look at how some of the players who have moved to this league from the A-League have done. Most recent, high profile example is Jamie Maclaren.

Appears to be the best player in that league, or at least one of them, with a ridiculous scoring record. But he was pretty average at Hibs. Could be that he just didn’t settle at Hibs or whatever, but it’s some sort of indicator.

I would be surprised if the overall standard of the A-League was as good as the Scottish Premiership.

 

We got beat in a friendly off an Aussie team in 2017, definitive proof of the quality of the league.

In a dedicated thread you know what you're going into rather than have a lot of unrelated bickering in a thread that interests you. In a way there already is a thread in "Other World Football" where all sorts of other topics from around the world of football are discussed (despite the name you don't need an ouija board to take part.
