Probably old news, but saw a video on Youtube where Postecoglou is arguing with a Japanese ref through an interpreter about a call, and the ref ends up giving a yellow card to the interpreter instead of Ange. :56:

I’m always surprised at how wide of the mark this idea that Celtic fans had an issue with Ange or Australians actually.

There was a healthy degree of uncertainty, no doubt about that. Anger however, was directed at the fact that we’d just spent the best part of 6 months with our fingers up our *, and that came after persisting with a manager who we all knew was finished for about 3 months longer than necessary.

Exactly. We were led to believe our first choice was pretty much guaranteed to take over, so pretty much anyone else who came in instead, after the disappointment of the Howe deal collapsing, would have been met with scepticism unless it was a 'big name'. The nationality of the Celtic manager is irrelevant. Once we heard about his credentials, heard him speak, and now we're seeing results, fans are behind him and judging him how he should be judged, on his results.

The only thing I can remember people focusing on, with regards to him being from Australia, was the fact he hadn't managed in Europe much, other than a brief stint at a small Greek club. That's a legitimate concern and fortunately for us it hasn't mattered so far.

I'd better get my * over there pronto as I'm actually considering buying M&S elastic waistband trousers as I've put so much weight on recently.

Not only was he guaranteed to take over - he had apparently been working away behind the scenes for months :giggle1:

Instead we basically found out that * all had happened for months, and that probably the biggest rebuilding jobs in my lifetime hadn’t even started. I think everyone was correct to be a bit * off.

No Ange's fault but how the * can we still have Ralston and Taylor as our only fullback options??

Just because huns appear to be bottle jobs doesn't mean we can rest a little.

What ever happened to the author of this article Mr Cleansheets? Has he gone quiet or just too busy on the other forum?

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
As always he’s one game away from castigation. However at least - even in poor nights (as I fully expect him to call this - or average at best) we look a threat and are growing in to being a new side.

we need 4 players by transfer window end, 2 of which need to be marquee for our budget.

Ange has support and buy in. Winning the league was beyond us (for me) a month ago. Now, I’m 50-50. Them lot are in turmoil, and season end money prize is colossal.

Time to spin the roulette wheel, and back him further.

We've got the makings of a really good team, just need to add a few more in the right areas and we could be looking at a very exciting season ahead.

We played with great fluency, it really was a joy tae watch.

Back him with more quality. * now..

One slight concern is I hope we don't burn out as we're putting in some amount of miles already..

    “We did okay.”

The fact his definition of “okay” is a million miles better than Lennon’s “great” will do me.

There was a point at 1 nil where the ball went out of play and he was shaking his head in disbelief. We were excellent at that point as well :56:
