Understandable that most Celtic supporters would have been underwhelmed with the appointment without knowing Ange's background/history.

One other thing that I would say that makes Ange special in my opinion and significantly different to most managers not just from Australia but the world is his ability to get the best out of his players. Without knowing much about Ralston myself and his performances last year (as I didn't watch much of Celtic other than in the UCL in previous seasons), I believe the improvement in his performances that Celtic supporters are now commenting on has been purely down to Ange and Ange's influence on his players. Going off the comments on Ralston's improvement, I would definitely assume that Ange has seen something in Ralston that he himself can polish/influence and have a say in Ralston's progression/trajectory as a professional footballer. One example; seeing a right back make the run that Ralston made against Dundee that led to his goal and in the fashion that it was scored (with his left foot), resonates typically with a player that has immense confidence/self belief and I think this is down to Ange. Irrespective of what the Celtic support might think, to me it appears that Ralston is definitely part of Ange's long term plans irrespective if Celtic bring in a RB this transfer window. Watch this space IMO.

Ange also has immense belief and trust in both his players and I believe this provides his players, greater flexibility in them making their own decisions which they believe are the right decisions during play. The only contingency is that football MUST be played the way Ange believes football is to be played. Players that have worked under Ange throughout his coaching career to date have all spoken glowingly about this trait. This trait enables and drives players without doubt.

I honestly think that Celtic supporters are in for an incredible ride over the coming months. I personally think that Ange will be gone within 36 months, not because of failure, but because of immense success that will follow at Celtic shortly that will undoubtedly bring interest. I think his next move will be the Premier League. I truly believe that every Celtic supporter will experience something unprecedented over the coming six months.

The * state of this article. Claims that fans said Christie was overweight (absolute nonsense), the home hattrick debut last happened in 1924, not 1919. Also, there was no anti-Australian prejudice over Postecoglou’s appointment, it was disappointment over him being our second choice and folk not knowing anything about him. Also claims we don’t rate Australian players :56:. What utter garbage.

I think we’re still a work in progress and reckon it’ll be tight, but I’ve more hope now than I did after the first three games.

Sounds like we're building a Kyogo statue anaw. Impressive, after just one league game against a newly promoted Dundee

You must've missed the Ryan Christie chant from last season

    You're eating too many Eusebi's

Definitely still a work in progress and I agree that it will still be tight, especially knowing the favours they will get from their brothers in black however, we need to strike while the iron's hot and they feckers are definitely feeling the heat just now.

The 2 in this week seems to be getting less likely.

From his press conference: "He (Ralston) is literally the only right back at the club".

I tell you what, for all that has been written about Ange in Scotlands lamestream media you have provided more insight and articulate reasons than all of them put together.

Appreciate your time to share with us and as long as Ange is straight with the fans he will get all the backing we can give him. He comes across as someone who speaks his mind and won't dress anything up. If only the board or the club had the same attitude instead of hiding, staying silent and putting barriers up against our own supporters.
