For sure. It just seems like a system that absolutely requires the right type of FB in order for it to work. Hopefully we're either up to it, or Ange is willing to adapt if needed.

That was an excellent performance against Dundee. The football was exquisite. And what a huge signing he has made in Kyogo Furuhashi. Well done Boss. Big Ange. Watched the game in Malones the whole pub was on their feet.

What I’m so happy about apart from the performance
It’s the likability factor of the new players
The likes of Barkas, eduard, nchame etc with so little personality and effort it’s hard to get behind them

but Kyogo how can you not love his enthusiasm. Hart seems a great guy and vocal and passionate on the pitch
Starfelt is going to settle and be a hard * fans favourite

    love it

    very happy today

Dont have a clue what u mean. What has his German nationality got to do with it? Guy played 2/3 seasons there, so he knows enough to give an opinion.

of the hat i would say: EPL and champship, seria a, bundesliga, french, dutch, belgian, russian, argentinian, brasilian, mexican, spanish, portuguese are stronger leagues for sure.

It doesnt mean that the Japanese lg isnt attractive. As I said i like the style of play and technical strength they posses.
As well. I dare say any of those leagues i mentioned in Asia would probably be serial winners of Asian champ lg. And i believe Japan won maybe 2/3 times over the past decade?

How many Championship, Italian, French, Dutch, Belgian, Portuguese or Russian sides have won the European Champions League in the last decade?

Thats not my point though. The point is if the Japanese would be a top 7 lg worldwide. They would rule the roost in Asian football as their quality would be overwhelming for the other clubs in Asia. It clearly isnt

Doesn't really matter how good the Leagues are anyway, there can be good players in them. Like Lewandowski I think started playing in the 3rd tier of Poland, Kimmich in the 2nd or 3rd tier of Germany and technically they are two of the most skilled players in their positions. Andy Robertson who knows where with Queens Park. Griffiths I think was once in the bottom tier with Livingston, Hooper also I think came from non League English football so have many English players.

to clarify by top 7 I mean top 7 in europe. I haven't seen any south american leagues but assume the Argentinian and Brazillian leagues are very good. I've seen around 100 or so games in any league that has had an aussie playing in it over the last decade. For the acl they don't seem to take it seriously since they are well above any other league in the region (south korea and china being the next best).

Have you watched much j league?

To say its even top 10 compared to those in europe is just madness.

Don't doubt there's good players there (we now have one) but * sake. Cmon.

You watch much J League Minty? Genuine question as I don’t watch any myself. Don’t watch any football outside Celtic.

I know it’s early days but it seems one of the best players from that league is going to * all over Scottish football. That can’t be an anomaly.

    Why is it madness though?

Where would we rank Brazilian, Argentinian leagues in comparison to European leagues? No one ever talks about South American leagues either when talking about top teams these days.

I’m not saying it’s top 10 but come on, just because it’s halfway around the world doesn’t mean it’s *.
