    For right back Miki Yamane from Kawasaki Frontale, would be a bit of a pain in the quarantine period etc but seems a very good footballer, at 27 coming into his peak years wouldn’t cost a lot.

    Very sound technically, very good dribbler, looks comfortable coming infield (inverted full back) or going wide with his pace.

    Also has Mitoma actually signed for Brighton? Was quoted as £2.5m but don’t think the deal has happened from what I can see. If not he would be worth a look.

    Really want us to tap into the Japanese market more. The players are very fit and technically good.

    I think the Asian market more broadly is one worth looking at.

    It's a massive continent, there's got to be decent players in there.

    Definitely mate. Far more likely to get value for money in Asia and we wouldn’t struggle to attract players from Asia who want a big move to Europe.

    We are obviously an appealing option for European based players as well but the fees are generally much higher.

    Speaking of the Asian Market..



    Kasper Junker is probably one we will be keeping an eye on. We were linked 7 months ago before Christmas when he was ripping Norway a new *. 27 goals last year for Bodo. He's now moved to Urawa Red Diamonds in the J league and has 7 in 11 there.

    If Ajeti or Griffiths move on I wouldn't be surprised to see him linked in January. Ange will be aware and he's obviously one we've scouted.

    Love a striker that gets in front of the defence. Gets them into a physical game that is knackering as the game goes on. His movement and first touch sets him up as well. Reminds me a bit of a Kyogo's movement there when the team is running at the defence. Something we were sorely missing last year that seems to be getting better already.

    Also, his goal return is outstanding.

    We could do with more of that.

    While on Bodo/glint and their former players, Ulrik Saltnes, cm similar to mcgregor I think, he was outstanding in their runaway win season amd he's been pretty good for a few now, contract expires December 22 so would be peak value for them now but would still probably only be a couple mil

    Another that looks a good shout,

    Ohi omoijuanfo, 52 goals and 13 assists in 90 games for Molde. Versatile in that he can play AM, both wings as well as striker, out of contract this December according to transfermarkt. I'd be having a pop at him on a free, ready to join in January to boost things then for the 2nd half of the season
