    I think he is good enough but will take adjusting to the managers new style of play.
    He was one of the best players last season. He has proven he can do it at this level

    I'm saying this in the least smarmy way possible, genuinely what do you think his qualities are that make him good enough for us?

    And when do you think he proved he can do it at this level?

    I'm genuinely curious as I was watching the game tongiht actually scratching my head as to a time I was blown away or impressed by a performance and he must have played well over 40 games for us now.

    I have never been impressed.

    Balls constantly get floated over his head out that side. Can’t beat a man and always looking to pass back or sideways. Ok defending 1v1 but we need better, he can’t be our 1st choice.

    The easiest way to sum it up is that he wouldn't get into about 3 maybe even 4 other SPL sides at this point in time outside of us.

    If that is the case for any player in our starting XI or bench they shouldn't be at celtic.

    We have to stop this settling for clearly average players and hoping they come good 2 or 3 years down the line. Has to stop.

    He works hard, and he'll have to, as LB may be the most physically demanding position in Ange's system. Even by late in the first half he was bent over hands on knees during breaks in play, almost panting for air. Not a great performance tonight and I wondered if he was fit enough to see out the match at one point.

    He’s never good enough to be a starter for us but I do quite like him. Always gives his all and he’s tidy enough on the ball. I’d be ok with him as back-up this season with a view to move him on next year. Need a proper left back signed pronto.

    He puts 100% effort in every game but just not good enough overall for what we need there, I don’t actually mind him as a backup full back to come in when needed.

    He is just too slow. The winger against him today made him look like he was running in slow motion.

    I think given the way Ange wants the wide back positions to play, we really need players with pace that can track back from being further up the pitch; for mine, that is not Taylor.
