From the sounds of it they didn't break any rules and FIFA only confirmed the ban the other day. Which made him ineligible last night but clears them of any wrong-doing vs us.

Apparently when they played us his ban only applied in Brazil as it was under appeal. The ban was upheld, it was confirmed by FIFA as being worldwide the other day and then passed on to UEFA.

I don't think there's any wrong-doing on their part.

Here is my take on this see if celtic had signed this player the first thing I would be looking for before he played a competitive game was does he have any suspension to serve before I would let him anywhere near a competitive game .They knew plain and simple get them chucked out

 

If you've no noticed were taking the * a bit. We also deserved to be out vs liga and sion. Rules are rules. So greet all you want.

Honestly, it would be so much harsher on PSV to be told to play a different team, they literally won 3-0 last night and bar a complete nightmare of a return leg, they are in to the next round for sure.

To tell them they need to play Celtic in a one off, where we could sneak a 1-0 win, would be pretty brutal, considering PSV literally have done nothing wrong.

 

We are just having a wee bit of tongue and cheek m8 as the majority of us know fine well that we are poor at the moment and fully deserve to be out. Therefore some if us are looking at it from the, if we didn't laugh we would greet, angle and, personally, I've been greeting since last season so trying to have a wee laugh helps keep me going.

 

It's just a laugh but I'll be protesting outside the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland at 3pm tomorrow if anyone wants to join me
