I personally don't feel anything ill towards Australia, or its people. However, you, and all the newly registered members are really too zealous in your praise of our manager. A realistic assessment, including his flaws, would be taken more seriously on here.

 

To be fair, I think I’ve been quite realistic in his pros and cons.

I guess the thing we find funny is that we’ve watched him for over a decade but are being told after 4 weeks why we’re wrong about him.

What Ozibeerman said about him not standing for that sort of transfer approach is spot on and in line with how he’s always operated yet we’re expected to be told by someone who didn’t know his name 3 months ago why we’re wrong?

I’m not suggesting he’s without flaw at all, not many managers are, but to suggest he hasn’t encountered teams playing on the counter to beat his high fullbacks or that because he’s from the * end of nowhere that doesn’t even have football as it’s first sport so doesn’t know what he’s doing is pretty disrespectful as well.

All for healthy debate about his game decisions etc like any other manager but just like we need to temper the excitement about him and what we think he will do, some of your counterparts could probably temper their arrogance and condescending tone towards him and some of the new members as well.

We’ve got a common goal of success for both Ange and the football team.

 

I would rather read positive Aussies than you giving the call to smash board members property from your cushy place in * Eastern Europe or wherever it is you’re from.

 

Brendan * Rodgers got players foisted on him by our board after an unbeaten season and you antipodean * think Saint Ange “won’t accept it”
