I think we will receive a deadline day, or close to it, bid for him. Once some teams make a crap start to the EPL someone will panic and come for him. With that in mind we should be getting someone now not waiting until it happens then panicking ourselves. Nisbet from Hibs definitely knows how to find the back of the net, might be worth a gamble.

Well worth buying him. We need an instinctual goalscorer, which Eddy isn't. If you look at the stats from last year, chance creation was not the issue, finishing was. Nisbet showed that he can score predatory type goals against a big team - The Netherlands, plus scored a decent amount for Hibs. I'm certain he'd easily match Eddy's goal tally with Turnbull's assistance.

 

If we can shift him on I think it will trigger a domino effect with Nesbit and Lovric we won’t sign either until we shift Edouard on, now wether we can or not could be another issue he might just decide to sit and run his contract down * all you can do about it

I would take any fee for him as long it got him out of our club. I don’t know how much longer I can cope with him leading the line whilst he has not an iota of desire to play here.

 

Drop him, ban him from training and if he goes to other clubs to train then sack him but keep his registration so that we get a fee.

 

Ever since the bullshit rumours of Arsenal & Manchester United wanting to pop a bid in for him last summer, he’s shown he sees us as just a stepping stone.

Does anybody feel for Edouard? From his point of view are we surprised he’s less than inspired? Literally every position has been downgraded and he’s now playing in a * team. Outwith McGregor he’s way beyond anyone’s level.

I’m * off he’s playing at about 50% and half arsed but Is it only the fans that are allowed to be disillusioned with the club?

Yes he gets paid handsomely but believe me every professional that gets “paid” to do a job does not think about the cash. They want to play in a team with prospects and a club that’s going somewhere.

By all accounts he trains well and hasn’t been vocal about leaving?

He’s an * getting paid (very well!) to do a job. He’s not doing that job anywhere near to the best of his ability.

McGregor also knows he's playing in a * team. And he is not nearly as bad as Odsonne.

The only theoretical excuse he could have is long COVID, but then, he should have been examined. I very much doubt he has that, though. He thinks he is better than he truly is right now.
