I would axe him and run with Monty for a few games. Honestly, cannot be any worse.

He is just awful - slow, lacks strength, no positional sense and gives the ball away all the time.

What worries me is we don't even seem to be linked with a left back...

A lot of absolute * written on here (and elsewhere) about Taylor. Set up Turnbull and played the best pass of the match to put McGregor through in the first half. Set up the Abada goal. Sound defensively but can get caught up the park because that's where the manager wants him to be which actually happened to Tierney a lot as well. Never makes mistakes that leads to goals, never gives away daft free kicks that put us under pressure. Rarely loses the ball. Works hard and covers a lot of ground. Always available and involved and never hides. Plays good balls into the box - set up at least 3 good chances in that game and one led to a goal (wrongly chalked off). He set up a lot of good chances last year as well but our strikers (mostly Eddy) missed most of them.
I'm not sure where the ridiculous bias comes from - I hope it's not because he's not from a 'Celtic background' because that makes us no better than them. I thought we were a club open to all.

Wouldn’t let this * take my dug for a walk, it would come back with him on the * lead.

Well out his depth. He was given the run about by the Hearts boy most of the night. Doesn’t have the engine or pace to get forward and back.

Lost count of the amount of times he got the ball around the half way line and pass to a Hearts player. Just got the ball taken of him when he tries to take a man on. So put his depth.

Finally does something in the final third and he’s wrongly flagged off which obviously isn’t his fault but why not make runs like that more often?

Not sure what you've been watching or what you've been smoking but Taylor ain't good enough. He gives his all, I'll give you that but his all is levels below what we require.

He's a decent LB for Aberdeen or something. Not for Celtic.

Here's a tip for a wee defender in the SPL......work on building up your upper body strength, it's been two seasons now you've been getting pushed about by dafties! But nah

If you look at the stats for the game only 2 players had more tackles than him, he had the most interceptions, he had the joint most key passes with Turnbull but he would have had most plus an assist if the Abada goal had stood. He was fouled more in the opposition half than anybody else. But let's just ignore the facts and say he's *.
I think he'll flourish under Postecoglu but the same people will be on here saying he's *. He could be MOTM 10 games in a row and they'd still say he's *, their minds have been made up.

    Stats again ay..

Turnbull was diabolical yesterday to anyone with a pair of eye's, but he had the most key passes as well, that no * can remember.....

Have you got a stat for how many time's he was on his backside or what minute in the first half he was blowing out his *?

I can't ignore my eyes mate. One game in isolation doesn't make him a player. He was actually ok last night but in general he's not good enough. I've observed him over more than a season now and if you are telling me Taylor is the best we can do at LB then I'm lost for words.

He's absolutely woeful. Wish him the best but he shouldn't be near us. He worked in an organised Kilmarnock team but he's not a player for a team that dominates the ball. Take a million if we can somehow get it.

Using stats to back him up. * *.

The guy is *. Slow, weak, small so wins * all in the air, constantly turns back or gives the ball away.

He has no standout attribute at all. Just a Kilmarnock level full back.

The praise might be over the top but that's just a reaction to the way over the top criticism. Your the worst for it. You've been on his case since he was just in the door. Are you saying you can't remember the pass to McGregor that if anybody else had made it people would be saying it was world class or the goal he set up for Abada?
He wasn't at fault for either goal and didn't give away the free kick leading to their goal so why all the criticism for him?

Way over the top criticism. That's because he's * pal..

How many game's already have you watched him completely lose his man? Tell the truth?

How many time's have you see him try and beat his man, only to fall over?

How many time's have you seen him win a physical challenge?

How many time's does a move break down with him, due to the fact he can barely move?

How many time's does he completely * a pass or cross?

Aye he played a pretty simple assist in for Abada and the one for McGregor with the outside of the foot was a nice ball through but that in no way whatsoever, overshadows how poor he actually is..

I could go on and on about other flaws in his game by the way, from his stamina to his long winded throw ins or first touches..

He's playing in a dominant Celtic side, so of course he should be able to pick out a man once or twice during a game. *, Ralston is murder and even he can pick a pass here and there and scored a worldie last night, but everyone knows he's nowhere near good enough either....yet still * all over Taylor funnily enough..

I’m more concerned about a season of him as our first choice LB than I am about Ralston as our RB.

    He offers nothing whatsoever.
