Thought Starfelt looked decent for the most part, although he’s clearly a bit rusty. I’m certainly not going to judge him too harshly when he’s making his debut in alongside a defence as awful as ours is currently.

Turnbull needs subbed for Christie (something I’d never thought I’d say), he’s been miles off it today.

Starfelt did well to get back but Bitton tackle takes that to GMS

Dominating the game doesnt = being the better side anymore in football.

Having 75% of the ball doesn't mean you've been the better team either.

Hearts have argubaly created more chances than we have. Theyve got in behind us on the counter 3/4 times. They've isolated our defenders more often that we have.

All we've done is pass it around in the centre of the pitch infront of their 11 men.

We're hoping to score from a long range effort. That's it.

I mind a 4-4 with KILMARNOCK, Jarosik debut.

    Another shocking 45 mins

nothings changed , I would have thought with having a new manager we would find that extra edge but pretty much same old

Means we can keep an extra 'attacking/creative' midfielder in team and still have security of defensive minded guy alongside Soro. Not a bad shout, if you ask me. Will work well especially vs that lot, who had a lot of joy overloading midfield vs us in recent games.

Can see what Ange is trying to do but we don't have the players to pull it off.

2 key components of the system are the full backs tucking in, comfortable to take the ball and run with it; yet we start the campaign with Ralston and Taylor there. Hoaching.

Ange won't compromise on this system though, I think he'll play until the results and performances shame the board into backing him with reinforcements. Embarrassing that a manager just in the door has to play these games.

Next Sunday at the Celtic Way should be fun if we drop points here...

If this is his way of playing then we're in for a long season.

What we have witnessed so far is just a re-run of last season. There is something deeper within our club that is wrong. We all said it last year the process needs ripped up and major overhaul required.

Aye. But the question was the last time we dropped points in a league opener.

It’s not working, he needs to change it.

It’s nothing to do with patience, Hearts are not breaking a sweat, they are completely comfortable.

They will hold out for a quick counter and punish us while we play one up top and not diverting from The original tactics and set up.
