    An under appreciated gem.

Honestly, I realise I’ve not got much to go on here but think soon as we get the right guy infront of him he’ll be fine. Think when Moi was actually playing infront of him he was good but mostly been stuck out on the wing to run that himself when that’s just useless when it’s him. He’s no a Frimpong or Izzy and defo not a Tierney.

Think he’ll do alright though, I’m willing to sit on this one a bit and bow out if I’m wrong when he has an actual winger infront of him for 10 games or so.

Maybe not controversial but the Celtic ballot system is rigged.

I know that friendlies are a separate ballot than competitive games but it seems like certain season ticket holders are guaranteed tickets every game like corporate and hospitality.

Meaning that you have season ticket holders missing out on attending games just because they paid less for a ticket it’s a shambles and is not a fair way of doing things.

Thats 33,500 tickets for competitive matches been balloted. I’ll know the games a bogey if one single season ticket holder does not attend 1 game after the next ballot as 3 games will be more than the amount of season ticket holders.

    That certainly is controversial.

    It’s a fact.

Dembele and Edouard have been our two best strikers since Larsson left, and therefore two of our best players.

If you'd said our 2 best strikers of the last 15 years, I might have accepted that, for Dembele at least. But they are no where near our 2 best players. There are far too many to list off.

But you're in the correct thread for that opinion. :50:

What you’re saying only makes sense in the likes of a 4-4-2, or when the player ‘in front’* of Taylor is left-footed.

Furuhashi, who will most likely be that player, is neither left-footed nor given to staying wide.

Ange needs a full-back who is able to overlap at pace, otherwise we lose most of our width in the final third.

*Even then, he’s only ‘in front’ of Taylor in a diagonal sense. In Ange’s type of system, the relationship between the full-back and the wide forward on that side is as much about outside vs inside as it is behind vs in front.

    Not in the slightest.

And I didn't say they were our two in the last 15 years. Two of the best. Which they quite clearly are. The only other players who enter the conversation are Wanyama, Van Dijk, Forster, Nakamura, Tierney and Brown (for longevity and leadership rather than ability).

Probably missing someone but the idea that there's "far too many to list off" is ridiculous.

I'd argue there should be more names than that on the list, but I'll concede I read your comment like you were saying they were 2 of the top 3, or something.

It also depends on what you mean by "best". Ability only, then you could throw in Samaras, Maloney, McGeady.
Individual season performances, throw in Commons, Mulgrew, Johanson, Sinclair.
Loyalty, throw in Lustig and Forrest.

I know you disagree, and I don't want to start a debate, but I think all those names should be in the list of "best" in the last 15 years, if Dembele and Edouard are on there. There are almost certainly others I've forgotten.

Every Lisbon Lion that sadly passes away gives DD and his board of crooks more power within Celtic.

Are you saying the Lions are Desmond's horcruxes?

Lol no, (no gonna lie had to look up what a horcruxe was). I feel the LL hold sway within Celtic Park, each one that departs lessens that influence. Desmond and his cronies take full advantage of that.

    * would played McGregor at lwb in a back 5, have an injured Forrest on the right, Christie up top, all strikers on the bench, Abada on bench and swapped 3 keepers at 30 min intervals.
We woulda got pumped under him.

That’s just bizarre as opposed to controversial.
