I hope the big man is raging (as I know I am) at what he has to work with.

Anyone heard from any of the Ozzies lately? Think we have frightened them off?

Good post match interview on BBC Radio Scotland where he put Liam McLeod in his place for talking about a catastrophe, didn't mince his words about transfers and took responsibilty for tonight.

One of the most impressive post-match interviews I've seen. Really liked how he put things into context and took responsibility. Well done Ange.

That's definitely a concern. However, we knew his style of play when he was appointed and it only has a chance of being successful if we have better players in a number of positions - most clearly at RB + LB imo. The board should back him with the players we need (and obviously some time + patience is also required).

If he is backed and it doesn't work out - fair enough, that's on him.

However, at the minute - I don't blame him for the state we are - that's down to the * he inherited from Lennon/Lawwell/the board.

IMO - even if he is backed, it will take this transfer window and the next to get the squad close to what he would like.

Belter. Put that * right in his place and was honest and up front about the result.

So refreshing compared to Lennon deflecting all criticism and not taking responsibility last year.

His last involvement in the world cup was successfully qualifying for Russia - with a team that finally got the system and were very hard to play against.

People keep saying his system can be exploited by canny teams etc but when the system is fully coached into the team's DNA it's really hard to beat. Hopeful long balls are hunted down and come back in wave after wave.

Thing is, he's got to have the right players for it. If he doesn't have the payers he wants by the end of the window he'll have to adjust the system.

    Either that or walk.

Fair enough view and while we Aussies have watched him work time and time again time will tell if it does again in this league. He typically takes a little while to sort through players, implement his system and weed out those that done fit. Was similar her in Brisbane when he took over, we regressed initially because players couldn’t cope or wouldn’t buy in (Charlie Miller was probably one of our best skill wise but miles away fitness and attitude wise) but after a window and off season were absolutely transformed.

Genuine question and not being a smart * at all, how do you guys see Bielsa coached sides? Has a similar mentality to me from steadfastly playing out to high demands fitness and movement wise and playing an attacking brand of football.

Before anyone gets excited, I’m not suggesting Ange is Bielsa, one is highly proven and the other has lots to achieve to get close but it’s probably more the STYLE of play I see as similar.

    As I said, genuine question.

Who was that pissant asking the questions?

Ange will get more and more annoyed with these * looking for a headline as the season goes on.

Hopefully we don’t have to give them many chances.

We were never * qualifying for the UCL this year. Lets get real.

The press in this country clearly dont see what squad we have at the moment. Not a * hope in * we are in a state to beat PSV over two legs. Theyre acting as though Postecoglu had a full strength, fit and firing squad at his disposal.

They clearly havent looked at the majority of celtic fans and their expectations either. As per, media nonsense.

im glad he’s spoken out it’s refreshing to hear as you could only dream of Lennon etc speaking out like that. They have sold him a pipe dream and not gave him the full support is what I’ve taken from that

I like his jibes at the board around the signings. But I also completely disagree with what he'd said about tonight's results.

Not his definition of catastrophic, going out this evening to a very average side in the Champions League

Tonight is "Not the end". Well it is the end of the Champions league this season. Even getting through tonights round would have made the Europa group stages a certainty.

I've watched two of his interviews tonight. I don't think he gets the importance of this result.

I think he's coming in similar to Deilla. Thinking that it's all about the title. That as long as we compete for the title, then its a good season. This is a perfectly reasonable objective from an outsider coming in. But its exactly the mindset and an issue that the board currently has and has cultivated for the last decade or more.

The board are setting a very low bar at the club and a lot of people we bring in to that culture are adopting it.

Ange's head must be spinning. Doesn't exactly help Ange or the clubs long term planning when he's on a 12 month rolling contract.
