We didn't really. We waited 5 months or more for Howe. That is * all to do with Ange.

 

He won’t walk because that would be the end of his career as a manager in Europe.

He needs to be more pragmatic. The whole vibe I’ve got from the Aussies here is that he’ll stubbornly stick to his guns irrespective of the opposition, and it won’t do us any favours, imo.

OK might have to go back on my response 2 minutes ago. Still think it is more likely that Howe OK'd that move before he bailed than Ange.

 

We defensively done very well and kept good shape tbh considering hes got a bunch of primary school kids who play rugby not football to attempt to defend. I'm not worried about that approach at all, its the fact we have zero players of note. Littetly none. We need 10+ thats how short me are. 4/5 first teamers and another ones who can affect the game of brought on. Were a mess. Litterly worst state iv ever seen celtic in as long as I can remember.

 

It's a major worry for me.

I like the guy and I won't be blaming him for anything until he gets the players he wants in the squad.

But i do fear, even with a new GK and back line, even one filled with quality, we'll still ship too many soft goals.

I dread to say it but I wonder if we're looking at a Tommy Burns' style team. Great going forward, dreadful at the back regardless of who plays.

 

Good on him he wont be the human shield the board want/expect him to be also just highlights how spineless the * in the dugout was last season

 

The mans not even got his own backroom staff what * chance has he got! Not been this disgusted with Celtic ever, it’s * heartbreaking to see.

I still believe in AP but I just don’t trust or believe in the board or the owner of our club. It’s just no Celtic, it’s not how a professional football club should be run and it’s certainly not what us fans deserve.

 

If that's the case then the board are even more incompetent than is already being suggested.

Why would you make squad decisions on the say so of a guy that hadn't even given you a definitive decision on his own commitment to the club?

Also what evidence would Howe be using to judge if Ralston was worthy of a contract extension? He had one solitary appearance for us last season in a drab 0-0 draw at home to Livingston.

Ange telt us two weeks ago this squad are extremely unfit and out of shape, it's no wonder we are blowing out our * after 60mins still.

That backline, on the whole, shouldn't ever play together again.
It's makeshift to say the least.

Edouard I don't imagine will kick a ball for us again either.

That's three massive issues we've seen over the last two weeks for sure.

What we are seeing though, is in part a good philosophy.
And, importantly, good shape and organisation at the back.

It's a * backline, but that backline had a shape and structure to it that I don't think we ever saw last season at all.
I can only hope that once we get starfelt and three others in place, they'll be managed well to be in a shape and know what they are doing.


I'm positive for Ange and confident in him.
But he needs the help, because if he doesn't get an entire new backline, a quality striker, then he's not going to get much more than what we have seen the last two weeks.


Guy needs * backed, how often do we need to say this?!


As an aside, saw a few of his comments back to the BBC about their questions, well in.
I know this is what some of the angelickers have raved about, so glad to see that is true.
But it is still showing that he's not happy not at all with this board when he is making comments on incomings.

He’s been sold a pipe dream by those above and he’s clearly bought into it , reality is obviously setting in how these * operate.

 

I like how he is trying to go back to playing with wingers who want to run down the outside and play balls into the box.
Get us a striker who will get on the end of the crosses.

 

I agree what he's said and I'm not defending the board.

The European success. Losing out on money and having to sell to cover our loss.

Last season as destroyed us. Spending wages on duffy. Barkas. Also wages on laxalt albeit they look good on paper but it just didn't work.

It also doesn't help with half arsed players like eddy. Christie sometimes. Ntcham to mention also. Theirs so many different issues at our club and theirs certain players what carry us time to time because if it wasn't for that the situation would be even worse I after say....
