    Zero points after 6 games?

Ange would've been three managers ago...

The signs are there, after the one game that actually meant anything, there was so much to be positive about.

It's clear after that game, well, before then you could say... That the defence bar a fit Jullien and the now confirmed signing of Starlet, the likes of Ralston, Murray, Osaze, Taylor, Bitton are not ready, or in Ralston, Bitton and Taylors case, not good enough, to be in the starting 11 at all.

Wishful thinking from me about the board, but if Ange is able to bring the RB'S LB and supplement with another GK andd St, I've got faith in him to lead us to winning title straight back.

Lol, you can put a monkey in charge and Celtic won't lose 5 or 6 in a row. Irrelevant conversation to have.

I found when we went down to ten men, he subbed Abada off and moved Christie around from the left wing to playing more of a support role across that 3 positions.
The fullbacks stopped coming in central as much, obviously to provide the width when possible

We tired a lot, a given considering how unfit this squad is, but overall, for me, he showed an ability to at least be able to change it when we go a man down.

The manager wouldn't survive the 4th straight loss.
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if he was removed after the 3rd game if this was to happen.

TBH you can see the fans do back him & know its all down to the board. This is the situation we had all been talking about when Ange first arrived. He doesn't have enough clout to tell the board what he thinks without starting a rift with board that he won't win. If somehody like Rodgers can't do it. Ange certainly can't.

You start to think does this * board want success for Celtic this season as to leave the team in the state it's in is bordering on neglect on the football side of things .
They need to back the manager now and we can't go into the first league game of the season with that back five it's taking the * out the manager and supporters .

The reason I ask is if everything is status quo on the recruitment front, and you just keep changing managers, and keep getting the same result, when are you going to storm the club house with pitch forks?

Hi, welcome to Celtic - where this has been the issue for the last 18 years.

This is also why we doubt Ange will be backed, doubt he could be a success etc...not on him as a manager, but the board are not there. The club is not there. We have no backing for him, from the club. We have no infrastructure, he is up against it.
We all spotted his first couple positive interviews, then quickly saw the frustration and disappointment. This isn't Ange, this is the club doing this.

We all KNOW this board are a shower of *. No offence to Ange, but if Brendan Rodgers couldn't make them do things properly, then Ange has no * chance.
His ONLY chance was Dom McKay not being a * like Lawwell, but that seems to be a lost hope as well.

Ange will do well to see out this season without going absolutely mental at the club.

The only reason Celtic fans would storm the club house these days would be to renew their season books quicker.

The board have broken the supporters. You’ve got a scenario now where supporters that complain about obvious incompetence and bullshit from the board are seen as entitled.

We have Ralston at RB and the new manager is already dog whistling to us about the state of recruitment, but somehow anyone complaining about it is the enemy.

They’ve actually managed to distract the supporters from the situation by making them fight among themselves over Leigh Griffiths.

Scumbag board and Dom McKay is acting in just the same way as his predecessor.

Things will never change at this club while people still convince themselves that they MUST buy season tickets and match day shirts.

Literally that is telling the club that you accepted last season.

Ange does have some success with getting average players playing well, but even this task may be above him.
I hope I’m * wrong because I’d love nothing more to have another club to follow to get my football fix.
Please St Ange, get the magic potion going.

This sort of attitude and misconception * me off. There has to be respect for everyone we come up against - league, Europe, Cup, whatever. There are a lot of people, especially outside Scotland, that think it's simply a matter of Celtic - or that shower of * from Ipox - showing up and domestic opposition will just instant;y cave. The hard work has to be put in and earn the results. If you think for a minute that other teams are not looking at the state of our defence as it stands right now and devising ways to exploit that, you need to lay off the pipe.

It's when attitudes become complacent and oppositions are treated with contempt, that we don't have to put in the hard yards - in training, tactically and on the pitch - that things go wrong, and on a grand scheme have literally lead us to this point in the first place. It's not just those midweek trips up to Dingwall in * winter weather that are a threat. It happens when we are not prepared. Takes a lot of effort to win anything.

It's only when the final whistle blows and silverware is in hand that it is job done. Being manager of Celtic is not an easy gig. There is a lot of pressure where every result matters, where the expectation is unrelenting, and every move, every decision made is under enormous scrutiny by the fans and the 'meeja' - such as they are, most of which are more PR than they are journalists and genuine pundits, who are few and far between - far more than I think your maybe aware of atm.

Sorry for going off the deep end when I know you were just making a joke there, but I had to vent and get that said; that being Celtic manager ain't no joke. This is the reality of the Glasgow goldfish bowl.

I had hopes for a decent rebuild this summer. I didn't expect it all to be done, I've said before that I think it will take at least transfer windows.

But Jesus christ we are really cutting it fine now. I get there are more restrictions nowadays with covid but that can't be an excuse for not getting players tied down and in, that's only an excuse for not being able to get them into the country quick enough.

Optimism is slowly waning with every passing day of no transfer movement.

Not to constantly have to compare him to Rodgers, honestly not many Celtic fans expect him to be half as good as Rodgers, but we've seen the managers before who get a fairly reasonable squad, to find the extra 10% and turn a sluggish squad in to a decent one.
Only to be quickly met by this board with no ambition and no foresight.

If Ange proves with this current squad of players he can get through Midjytlland, that is NOT a sign that he can go to this board and ask for more backing - this board will literally take that as a sign that what we have is good enough and nothing else needs done.

Yep, two dimensional, three dimensional where needed. Cut your cloth to suit the situation to get results. Ajax with Cruyff still won games with 1-0.
