True but would be really spend roughly £9.5m on two left wingers when only one of them can play? Unless he plans on maybe playing Kyogo up front or in behind a striker? I honestly don’t know. I’d like full backs addressed first if I’m honest but I’ve heard he’s a baller so I’m definitely not against the signing in general

 

Yes but can play up top and I thought that’s the way the club intended on playing him. if I’m wrong and he’s been brought in as a winger I stand to be corrected.

 

Aye maybe mate. We don’t seem to have been linked with many strikers, even with the links for Edouard. Boupendza and Nisbet seem to be the only ones I’ve heard. So maybe Kyogo upfront, lovric on the left and Abada/Forrest on the right.

 

Couldn’t see anything in the Lovric link if Kyogo was brought in to play LW as wee would have enough bodies covering there albeit I don’t think we can relay on mikey&dembele for a season but jamesy etc could cover there. A few folk had been saying kyogo had been brought in to play up top before it was officially announced I think that’s why I’ve perhaps assumed that & having you just point out the lack of rumours around out & out strikers has been awfy quiet this window got my brain going, yer bang on tbh

 

I would rather get a defender or 3 first. But we’re not going to neglect the defence just to sign Lovric.

He played very well in his latest game for Gorica, but our priorities (should) lie elsewhere.

We’ll 100% sign a few defenders. Whether they’ll be any good or not is another matter.

We need a * of a lot of players, the debate between 500k or even a million between a deal going through or not should not be an issue, we've lost loads of players over the years by being just a wee bit to tight

 

Not going to pretend I know what he’s been like the last 2 or 3 years but he was a good player a few years ago. Don’t think he played much last year but he would maybe come in and do a job for a year or 2.

 

But right now we need defenders!! We have RW's going into the league next week, we don't have a RB at all...

In the RW position alone we have Abada, Forrest, Dembele & The new Jinky

 

It’s just a WhatsApp rumour tbh not seen anything concrete and I think folk are just pulling him out the hat based on him being a free transfer. He would do a job no doubt at RB for a season or 2 that may suit the board as they seem to be operating that way regarding the back line especially wing backs instead of just addressing the problem.

I bet they thought the keeper situation was sound due to having Barkas, Bain and Hazard but it clear we need a new keeper as well.

 

He could also come straight in as Croatia is a green list country.

 

He was brilliant 2/3 years ago, then injuries * him. Plus Alexander Arnold came into the Liverpool side.

He had a couple of loans but injuries have stalled his career in them 2/3 seasons.

If we can keep him fit then I would 100% love this to happen.

I’m not disagreeing with you here as your correct, but do you think the board give a flying Fk? I find it hard to believe they do. They are not going out and getting a GK with 3 on the books same can be said regarding the LB position they will deem those good enough and ange will have to work with the tools at his disposal, we’ve seen this movie many a times now. I do think they will strengthen the RB position though and can see ange been granted a new RB which is over due. We’d all like a new CB also but I can’t see that being addressed they will paper over that the now until Julien is back and he will partner Starfelt. That’s the problems without even addressing the other position that currently need bolstered shambles at present.
