Do you see the board parting money for LBs with Taylor and boli on the books and Youth available for cover. I find it hard personally and can’t see it happening The Boli PR stunt the other week makes me think the board plan on keeping him on board also.

I’d think LB won’t be one he’s prioritising above a RB and another striker. I would imagine he thinks he has enough cover there, although not great ability in that position, and will deal with the LB position in another window.

 

I’d take whatever comes from Croatian media with a pinch of salt. We had literally signed and agreed to sign Vuskovic less than a month ago, now he’s on his way to Feyenoord. I know he’s a good player but is another winger what we need? Especially with Abada, Kyogo, Forrest, Johnstone and Dembele in the squad? Surely the priority should be a goalkeeper, right back, centre back and left back.

Aye I know. I think there will be some genuine journalists in Croatia but I think the general consensus is that it’s very similar to Turkish media, not many going about.

Its ok saying sign this player and that player, we are constantly linked with loads of different players from different countries. What we have to watch is for European Squads we need to have a number of home grown players in it, maybe not this season though !! For RB I would take Doig from Hibs and LB I would go and get Hickey, both young and can be developed to play a certain way, both know the SPL already and will be ready to start.

 

Completely mate , Awk well time will tell eventually as nothing is claiming a bid has been made as of yet , I genuinely hope it happens as I feel this is a position that needs strengthening as can’t relay on mickey to play LW for a season giving his injury prone and he’s injured again at present.
