Ange Postecoglou

I want Ange to come out and call the board and the CEO out. They won't lose their jobs over this * show but Ange will.

I'm 100% behind Ange and 100% behind shooting the board.

 

Make or break for the board. Not sure if they expected this guy to make such a big impression on so many of us but now he has, the board will take the flak if it goes * up. They won't have NL to hide behind.

 

It’s all fine & well the support saying if we crash out Europe it’s on the board etc etc and I’m sure that will be the case. But when nothing changes as those clowns don’t give a fk blame game will shift to ange as it’s the only change we can force it’s always been the case

 

Crashing out when not if will be 100% on the board. I don't think anyone will blame Ange. But as @MickeyyyMack said if the results don't materialise down the road the blame will shift to Ange because us as supporters will do absolutely * all to address the real problem which is the board. Ange will be made a scapegoat..

 

Green bridage should do a banner “ we have bought into ange , why havent the board “ shows unity with ange a maybe gets the boards to move

As I said previously, that’s my real problem with this situation. He needs time and he won’t get it. He wouldn’t have needed time if the board had acted in a professional manner!! I like his ways, his demeanour etc but results matter.

 

I'm nearly at the stage that because of our clubs ineptitude this season is a free hit for Ange. Anything he achieves will be despite of the tools he's been provided.

I'd imagine I'll be in the minority on that one if he wins nothing

 

Matter of time unfortunately if they continue to show this type of ambition, yes he’s been able to bring players in albeit still waiting on work permits the fact doesn’t shift from that defence we are starting games with that is the worst I’ve seen in a long time & ive been wanting the defence sorted as have others for a number of seasons now it seems only certain positions at the back get sorted (papering the cracks). But that back line is beyond a joke perhaps stronger back lines in the championship certainly in the SPL. Why has the board stood by and expected ange to go into the CL qualifiers with a back line like that if they are showing that kind of laziness at present surely that’s a red flag. The board will not be addressed by us unfortunately we as a support have been taking for granted for too long now they have us by the balls unfortunately if any year was a sign to hit the board it was this year considering the factors around last season. But aye as a said it’s only a matter of time before ange is the fall guy for this shower a charlatans.

 

100% agree and I hope the rest of our support are thinking like this but unfortunately alot are looking for any excuse to get rid.. I hope I'm wrong and even in his short time has won over a lot of nah sayers..

Jose, Klopp and Mancini as a management team couldn't do anything with that team fielded today. Its the worst defense I've ever seen line out for us.. and I've been supporting Celtic since the late 80's. None of which is Anges fault

 

I noticed someone mentioning in another thread the back line ange is working with at present wouldn’t even have managed to play for our Reserves a number of years ago and I completely agree. He’s got some job on his hands this season no doubt about it.

 

That defence wouldn't survive in the Scottish championship

 

I don’t expect massive changes unfortunately, do you genuinely see the board giving that back line a overhaul? A RB will come in I believe but that’s it to add to Starfelt. They are not going out spending on LBs when boli & Taylor are on the books not a chance and the rest will remain the exact same once again they will paper over the cracks fool the punter etc etc Again instead of just addressing the fkn Problem.

 

The squad is so far behind and under prepared of what it should be.

We need additions in nearly every position. Its gona be hard to fairly judge Ange until we have added

 

I honestly see no reason why the league isn’t a realistic target this year.

However as long as we see progress over the next 9 months then I’m willing to give him time.

We absolutely should be aiming for the league title though.

 

The league is a must , not even a debate year in year out the League is a must. As for folk claiming ange will be giving time it’s alright saying that just now but unfortunately the honeymoon period ends when the league starts. He will be made the scapegoat by this shambolic board.

 

He won’t let that happen. If this * goes south then Postecoglou will make sure we all know why. If it’s his fault he will hold his hands up I’m sure of it. I’m also certain that if it goes Pete Tong and he feels short changed he will tell us that as well.

It won’t though. He will get the players he needs and we will win the league. It’s really that simple.

 

His football as much as it looks great in spells i've absolutely no doubt will give me the fear in the tougher away games it just looks so easy to counter if you have a quick striker
