He's been here 3 weeks now or whatever, he should be booting the door down the morra asking whats going on about new signings. Must have seen enough of the keepers, Ralston and Taylor by now to know he for sure needs 2 right-backs and a left-back even another centre-half and defensive midfielder.

We need that type of depth with Bitton, Urhoghide, Hjelde, Dembele, Johnston, Griffiths in reserve.

 

I would be unhappy as manager if my first choice was barkas as goalkeeper and * Ralston at right back and two youngsters for centre backs.
This board and including McKay now in this need to get their * act together and back this guy and we are only a week away from our first league game and we have only brought in three transfer money signings and not * good enough as it's a rebuild not * just adding to the squad and that's it .

No sure if par of system or just * fullbacks, but defensively they were never in position when we got attacked or even running back.

 

We are all quite within our rights (remember we're supposedly to be "entitled") to moan about the board, the lack of signings and our fears on going onto the start of the season, once again, totally unprepared however, none of that can be blamed on our new manager. He has came here with enthusiasm and a willingness to create a fast free flowing style of football which has been lacking over the past few seasons and we can see that on the field. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the necessary tools to do the job and I am a wee bit worried on how he uses the full backs however, I am willing to go along with his ideas just hoping he gets the personnel in to enable to do the job.

 

Full backs is becoming more and more the glaring problem in this side now.
There is certainly a lack of depth in most positions, but full back on both sides need MASSIVE improvements for the game Ange wants to play.

Most players in an Ange team are gonna need to have some engine on them and be fairly comfortable on the ball. The full backs are being asked to do a bit more in this system and need to have that energy in their locker to go all game and be ready to run a marathon and a half each game now.

Some won't agree, but Laxalt would be a better option than Taylor right now.
