From midfield up we look great, back 4 and keeper though….. Welsh came in and done a job for us but in reality he should be only back up at best, Ralston is once again *, lose out on so many attacks from him same with Greg Taylor, Dane Murray I like but still a bit inexperienced, good run out for him. Barkas was brutal for the 2nd, couldn’t do much about the first, Welsh shouldn’t have dived in. Imagine what football we could play with good cbs and compotent full backs

 

Been defending Barkas since he arrived. Now he has a fresh slate and he looks so bad in what should be a low stress match.

That gap he left for their goal there... it is as if he was a punter off the street, at 5s who wanted out.

Taylor and Ralston man. You genuinely couldn't pick a worse set of fullbacks if you tried. Abysmal players.

Barkas looks so far away from the standard of a professional goalkeeper it's actually frightening. He does EVERYTHING wrong. What the * man?

We desperately need to invest in the defense and GK or we won't do anything this season.

 

Back line doesn't have a great shape the centre half's are always going to be exposed because the 2 full backs are trying to be wingers as well. Barkas still to show why Celtic paid all the money for him

 

Bored saying it but the defence needs reinforcements rapid.

Really feared something like this was on the cards even as far back as when the fixture was announced. They've got far too much quality for how inexperienced our back-line is and how * the goalkeeper is. And that's showing unsurprisingly.

On a more positive note, Abada will rip Barisic to shreds if he keeps up that level of directness whilst Ryan Christie continues to impress since coming back. From midfield to front, I genuinely have no complaints outside of Edouard continuing to miss some big chances.

Was it Southampton that signed or almost signed a guy that pretended to be a professional footballer? If barkas hadn’t played against us I’d believe that we had got done over. Maybe he has a twin brother.

 

Defence would look better with Adam Virgo in it, and that’s bad….

 

The whole way ange wants to play is reliant on two very quick and technically good full backs. We don't have that on either side

As I said in another thread, this back four and GK might, just might be enough to scrape past Midtjylland (although I'm even doubtful on that), it has zero chance of getting through against PSV, a new GK, RB, LB and another CB are required for that tie

I'm just gonny sit in the sun with a beer, I know it's only a friendly but I just end up angry with frustration watching guys like Taylor Ralston and barkas playing for Celtic. I then start to think of the complete mismanagement of Celtic by the Tory * in charge and it's probably best I drink quite a lot to blank them out.
