[Matchday] Celtic v West Ham Friendly Sat 24 July 3pm KO.

This near enough team drew 2 2 with Dundee only just around 2 weeks ago.

 

We are never a team that can play it out from the back against ANY team that is competent. We are going to lose plenty goals this season * about at the back like we are Barca, European football is going to be painful if we even get there.

There's a decent chance not one of this back 4 will be a starter in a few weeks or months. The manager is going to drill his style in to the team, he needs help from the board to get the players in faster to play that style though.

We were calling all last season for players on the post at set pieces. We'll need players on the post during open play now to cover for this dumpling

Can hear the fans getting frustrated at Ralston, Taylor and Barkas. Everything breaking down with them. How many will start at Tynecastle? Honestly wouldnt be surprised if it was 2 or 3

 

2 new full backs and a keeper and we'd be looking so much better. We've played some nice football at times but too much breaks down at the full backs and that leaves the CBs exposed. Don't care about the score today, but we really need to get new bodies in pronto.

Played some decent stuff in attack but haven’t seen enough of it because of that shambles of a defence.

Ange should be leathering McKay until he gets that defence sorted. Must be one of the worst back 5’s Celtic have ever had.

Hopefully West Ham play the kids in the second half or this will end up 5/6/7.

 

A new right back is an urgent priority followed by a left back. We won’t see the best of our wingers either until this happens

 

Trying not to be too harsh on the defensive frailties cause we badly need new signings there.
