His frame isn’t an issue, his decision making and slack passing was.

I like him though and he looks good, ideally he makes those mistakes somewhere other than the Celtic first team and we reap the benefits further down the line.

Do I think there’s an exact science to the amount of games players need at a certain level before playing for Celtic? Absolutely not:56: he’s just played in a champions league qualifier would he get that at kilmarnock? Absolutely not.

I would be loaning out both Hjede and Osaze for 6 months and keeping Murray and Welsh, we've got a good set of young CB's at the club, I hope we don't * up with them.

You don’t have to. But equally, people have spent * years moaning about the same players playing every game no matter how tired or out of form they are.

It’s no coincidence when you look at even the biggest/best teams they try get their youngsters in as soon as possible and give them as much game time as possible.

Dane Murray or Leo Hjelde getting game time isn’t going to cost us the league.

It could but mate, I’d rather have them out there playing week in week out rather than what we can spare them.

That’s not what I’ve said at all, you want them to get the most experience and the earliest opportunity and that comes with game time.

Would you be happy with us not signing another experienced defender and going with Murray and Welsh?

Was thinking the exact same myself: club at a decent level, with ambition, in the same general area so he wouldn’t need to face moving away, etc.

Did fine considering the circumstances, wasn't fazed and it will give him a platform to build from. These young players getting a chance due to limited squad really need to step up and grab these opportunities coz they wont be coming along too often once more players come in though i hope Ange does give them a pathway to the first team - its up to them to make it count

Done well coming on and made a few miss passes but his reading of the game was great. Got stuck in and wasn’t fazed at all.

We haven’t produced any centre half’s in years and he we have another fantastic prospect in Murray like Walsh.

Send Murray out on loan with the other young Norwegian lad and within a couple of seasons we could have a fantastic Celtic produced centre half’s.

I think the lad has a big future at the club.

I'd like to see us keep Murray. I think we need 5 centre backs and I don't want Bitton to be one of them. But if we had Julien, Starfelt, Welsh, Davies/Itakura and Murray, I would be happy with that.

Very good summer from him so far. He needs to start against West Ham on Sat along with Welsh. Get them more experience against higher level opposition and time together as they clearly are going to be starting in Denmark next week and probably against the diets as well.

We need shot of Bitton ASAP but I would like Murray to be playing week in and week out at the moment. It’s pivotal to his progression.

Future is bright regarding some of our youth players coming through.

The passing will improve with experience. Think it was more about decision making than the actual passing itself. Boy was obviously a bit nervous and playing against a level of player he's never been up against before. Would be interested to see how he shows himself against SPFL opposition.

I'd be looking at giving Hjelde a long term contract and loan him out this season. He is ready for first team football, but not quite there yet for us. Another season playing should do him the world of good.

Murray, I suspect, we will need this season as I've not been convinced in the few short appearances he's had that Uhroghide is going to be all that good. It's hard to judge on pre season games but I thought with the calibre of player he was up against he'd stand out, but he looked out his depth at times. Early days for him though, but I'd be holding on to Murray until january anyway just in case.
