Probably added him because him traveling with the squad whilst injured to Dubai worked out so well :39:

Shattered his kneecap by sliding into the post last season. Due back around September.

Looking forward to him, Starfelt, and Welsh in the back 3.

    Don’t think Ange prefers a back 3

Why do * keep going on about a back 3

Ange has said it’s going to be a 433.

Is the big man on track for his return in September? I’ve not read any updates around it. Don’t want to rush him back in case he does further damage.

We had a good wee run of games using a 3-5-2 under lennon about a year and a half ago, obviously it's the way forward....

I genuinely don't get it, same way some people always say we need to play two strikers to be a more attacking, we didn't exactly struggle for goals playing one recognised striker most games under rodgers.

3412 to be exact mate. That was what they lined up in the final. Mount behind Werner and Havertz.

There is no right or wrong formation. But the way Ange has invested in the squad we most likely will see 433 or 4231 with a real flexibility of who can play where across the front 3..

Always think 352 is the exact same thing, 3412 is just adding the attacking midfielder outwith the midfield ‘5’

Havertz played closer to Mount than he did to Werner.

If we’re being pedantic then it’d be 3421.

Either way it’s one striker with two players off him. He done the same for the vast majority of his time at Dortmund and PSG.

Fair enough, my memory of it was Havertz was more of a striker in the game and Mount was more helping out in the midfield battle.

Probably the biggest point is formations are fluid and that’s what the top teams do best.
