Shouldn't have even been a free kick in the first place. Welsh was harshly done by ref.

Ralston is limited, but put in the effort. Same with Taylor. If Postecoglou is the kind of guy I think he is, Edouard will not play the next game- two average players at least tried, and Le Sulk did nothing with his ability.

If we have any future this season, the team has to be built around Soro, he stood out a mile away tonight

Soro has room to grow into a massive place at this club, tonight he showed glimpes of Kante I thought. He's a wee machine in there, especially with CalMac beside him. Taylor is trying his heart out but when I'm (sub consciously) comparing him to KT, he's not good enough. I'll take him over Boli though.

I’m surprised very pleasantly. I did not expect so much attacking, organisation or freshness to the team. We are still in this and I’m confident for the away leg. I expected us to be down and out here. Referee was a total cheeser.

We were in the ascendancy before utter stupidity from Bitton, taking Abada off and playing Turnbull as a striker was a strange one.

Tell you what ah really enjoyed that. Been ages since a could say that. Jury's out on whether or not that style of football can be successful here but its a certainty that we're going to enjoy watching Anges side when it finally takes shape.

Definitely more energy and with some new players things could be looking up.
Barkas shouldn't get in the team again. We need a new keeper but of the ones we have Bain is clearly the best. At least he makes saves - something Barkas seems incapable of doing. What other keeper dives with his arms bent and it's not the first time. I can't actually imagine him making a save. Whenever a team get near our goal I feel as though we don't have a keeper and they just need to get it on target to score. Bain would've saved that and we would have won because they didn't create any other chances in the game.
I'm not saying Bain's great but he makes saves.

? That mob had 5 players out tonight....Its a possibility they get their own house in order before ours.

Good result considering however, for those who thought Barkas would somehow turn into a good GK then, think again. Ralston, Taylor still not good enough and we need a new ball winning CH. We desperately those positions filled ASAP and, if that happens, then I genuinely think we have the makings of a half decent team. Christie, McGregor, Welsh and Sorrow were my standouts tonight.

Empty shirt far too many times. Christie get the * time and time again for being inconsistent but when he shows up he shines far more. Tonight he was class.

That’s 4 out of the 11 players mate, nearly half the starting 11 :giggle1: however I do agree there was signs of improvement.

Aye the ball totally changed direction and went to the touchline...stupid decision by the ref.

Absolutely possible, given that their club is young as it is, and the level they've played at over the past 5/6 years, I'd say they have a board with a good set of balls and a plan. Would love that.

some good signs....loving Soro in this system and McGregor looks rejuvenated. Good stuff from the signings and young uns with more to come

Full backs and keeper obviously need replacing , but for me the bigger issue is who will lead the line..Eddie honking and disinterested as usual, Ajeti doesn't have the quality, and Griff will be either in jail or 20 stone by Christmas

Did they change the away goal rule?
